Happening in my save, castles are up to 4k militia and still growing at 25-40 per day

Castellan Office gives +100 militia daily on lvl 3. In 15 days You have castle impossible to capture.

Edit: just to note Castellan Office description says nothing about it. It's still 50% less militia during rebellion.

Guys, are you really think that there are a lot of very skilled, talented or experienced game developers working in this company. I swear the god, almost all of their employers learning game development after they started working there. These are not my opinions, the founder of this company already have confessed that in some of the his interview. As a Turkish, i can easly say that i know most of the their employers profile and almost all of them spending their time on youtube videos to learn gameing. Most of the employers have zero knowhow. I bet, if m&b mod community can organise themselfs, probably this game only takes just a couple of year instead of ten years. And if you wanna know how professional they are, pls check that their open positions from their main websites. When you skim over some of the big or medium scaled video game companys website, you can see that very specficed open positions like enviroment designer, Ai specialist, physic engine specialist, UI designer or art designer. Please after read this, check that their open positions or position  They are only looking for a computer engineer. This is their professionalty unforcunutelly

Im a Senior Fullstack Web Developer from frontend, backend and servers. yes my work arent related to game productions, but most of the junior devs and fresh grads arent used to industry, there is no way to learn a development outside of industry, even if you studied and had a perfect grades in school, it is very different from industry work. the reason is, in every development, there is a lead that he/she will lead the project and his coding style, or coding preferences arent taught anywhere but hims/she alone. basics are the only things you can learn outside of industry, the rest its from its respective company and each companies have their own thing. also developers and designers had a huge differences. and here is the important part. the state or the time of production isnt just based on developers. there are multiple departments working on a single project. search on google about Software Development Life Cycle cause im tired of explaining it. these are the factors why it takes so long to produce a professional game. if you want to compare Taleworlds from Ubisoft, EA Games or any gaming company, just take a look how large or how many employees they do have and how many branches they have all over the world. if we want a better games released as soon as possible, then lets just support and appreciate all of their team

also, being professionally we cant just fire people out of their work that is unprofessional and will have a negative "Traits".

Anecdotal but wanted to put it out there - 1.4 is witnessing the fastest snowball I have ever seen. Just 2 years into the playthrough and Southern Empire (my faction) has already obliterated Northern Empire, stolen half the Western Empire, pushed both Sturgian and Aserai fronts in simultaneous wars. Faction strength stands at 2x to 3x the closest rival. Wars are going on for longer, the losing factions don't seek peace and struggle to get back on their feet.

Do the javelins seem even more powerful in 1.4? Before, with no throwing skill, I dealt about 40-60 damage per average javelin. Now I can hit someone in the chest and 1-hit KO them 70% of the time (90-120 damage). Hit them in the head and it's about 150-200 damage! I never fight mountain bandits or sea raiders anymore. They are 1-hit KOing all my tier 6 troops! Before they could survive at least a single hit from a javeline. Its even worse when commanding a large battle and a random javelin nicks my elbow and deals 70 damage if not KOs me, making my troops go on a suicidal charge.

No mod in your game ?

This, taleworlds is still small compared to some of the larger AAA devs out there. I'm sure that even if some devs didn't have experience in "gaming" before starting in the company they do now after making their own custom engine.

Also, even though they made a lot of money with EA release, its not like they can just hire on a ton of new blood with "gaming experience". putting in new team members takes a lot of effort and more times than not actually slows things down, especially since they have a custom engine. It's the most common mistake I see for project managers out there, adding more people to make something "quicker". taking attention away from the experienced devs to train the new ones.

I can see you didn't read what the person wrote who I replied to. Someone who was quite disrespectful and nasty without good reason in this forum and towards TW. What are you doing here, that's good? I don't see it, only a person who got so worked up for who knows what that they had to register on this online forum only to - personally try and insult me? Seems very mature.

Good thing I'm most likely older than you, and have been in the work force for over a decade already and going strong, earning the money I need in finance. What do you? Based on your comment - nothing much but scour online looking for fights.
He was simply venting his frustration as many others on these forums - with good reasons. You summed him up as a "smart man" based on what he wrote. I was doing the same to you. Wasn't meant as an insult, just a friendly reminder that the same attitude towards others can be applied to you as well. You're a banker? Me too.

I'm curious if you think its same cause as for me, in mine the snowballed faction had huge amounts of militia in their forts from the castellan +100 militia bonus bug. Can you check a few of the southern empire fiefs militias for a rediculous amount 400+?

Good call and precisely the next thing I checked, riding around from city to city to check every single one. None of the Southern Empire cities have militias above 350 (a number I recall being quite achievable in 1.3), so I don't think the castellan bug has caused this snowball.

That is a def a normal number, I agree it's safe to say its something else.

I am not a banker but I work in finance. However, I could easily do a lot of the work they do in a bank.

I remember in previous patches it use to give a +1 militia bonus. Seems like it lost its decimal or got some 0's added.

@Duh_TaleWorlds -

to expand on my oh so articulate friends saying “meh”

These builds understandably take plenty of work, but a handful of fixes, influences and economic changes that often seem like you are listening too much to the people who conquered the map in 1.0 and now just sit and complain that there is nothing to do and not players striving to make a name for themselves, a few skill perk implemented, and maybe a new mission or two are a bit less then what might be hoped for.

Better sieges, better diplomacy, better access to minor factions and ability to interact with them, more Kingdom, Settlement and Clan management options, and just new features in general is a little more what I feel people are looking for at this stage.

I don’t want to make light of the effort, but just a little more headway on additional versus modified/adjusted would be great!

Screenshot of Throwing weapons dealing ABSURD damage after patch 1.4. Note that my throwing skill is 23 and that the javelins are only tier 2. Also with good armor (absorbed 37 damage) I was dealt 83 damage by by a javelin in the arm while backpedaling.

Edit: this was on foot.
