[Werewolf] Werewolf High - Wolf Victory!

Users who are viewing this thread

Ah, there we go.

I don't believe Bowser is a wolf, not concerned enough about staying alive. In my mind it would be better not to lynch him.

Were I to point at a wolf, Leifr would be the choice. He's given us a bad reason not to post (does it count, Llandy?) and then disappeared. Not much hunting there.

Vote: Leifr

"I must say, this is a rather disappointing first week at school. Three students did not show up at all; perhaps I shall offer their places to other, more deserving candidates. As for the rest of you, for better or worse you have been unable to reach a consensus and vote on a fellow student to hang. I can only hope that the consequences of your choices will not come back to bite you... literally.

For now, go to your homes, spend time with your families, your loved ones. For the full moon will surely be rising, which can mean only one thing.

Something wicked this way comes."

It is now Night, and there has been No Lynch. Night actions are due to me by 10PM GMT on Sunday 13th December.

”Welcome back, students. How wonderful it is to see your keen and open faces once again. I trust that you all had a relaxing and stress-free evening, and return today feeling refreshed and eager to learn? Unfortunately, I must tarnish your day with some most unfortunate news. It seems that one of your classmates, McConor, has met a rather unfortunate end. His parents found his mangled body in the back yard of his home yesterday. Police investigations are still underway, but there can be little doubt that his death was the result of a violent and sustained wolf attack.

“To make matters worse, I still have not heard from the parents of The Mighty McLovin. It is as if the whole family has fallen off the face of the earth. Of course, we know that cannot be true; the laws of gravity prevent it. His absence, however, continues to disturb me greatly.

“Speaking of absence, young Benno Maximus, your would-be classmate, has declined to accept a place here at the school. Hopefully his next choice of school will be less particular.

“And finally, we must speak of punishment.”

Principal Maledictus clasps his hands behind his back as he strolls across the auditorium stage.

”I was assured by the parents of Lord Kelsier that their son would turn up for school yesterday. This did not happen. The punishment for truancy shall now be enforced. Lord Kelsier will spend one day in solitary detention. For the next 24 hours, he may not speak. Perhaps a day away from the fun of the classroom will encourage him to socialise with his peers.” A sharp little smile creeps across the principal’s face. ”That is, unless he feels he is above socialising with you all.

“Now, run along to your classes. And remember this: the wolves will pick you off one by one, and it makes little difference to them whether you hang somebody at night or not. It is in your own best interests to find and eliminate the threat… before it can eliminate you.

“Enjoy your second day at school.”

McConor has been killed! He was the overlooked younger brother.

McConor may now opt to Possess: Playername. The following players are currently eligible for possession:

• Benno Maximus
• The Mighty McLovin

Lord Kelsier is now in detention, and may not post for 24 hours.

Deadline for Day 2 is Friday 18th December, 10PM GMT.

Please excuse the host in advance for not being around much on Friday 18th, it is my work’s Christmas Party. But I will be back several hours before the lynch deadline.

vote: Bodrax

On top of what I said yesterday, he flip-flopped back and forth with regards to Bowser and ultimately ended the day voting the principal.

Are we going to discuss our reasoning behind the votes at all? Further, I'm for sale if anyone wants to form a cartel and hire me.

More reason than the others.

I'm present and voting. Until certain players meet that bare minimum, that's about as much as I feel like discussing. I will vote with some people I think are not plumbers if the time comes, or if someone has something worth responding to that would interest me in the slightest, not that discussions about text color or vague undefined Bowser suspicions weren't absolutely riveting.

Will have to look back at who McConor suspected. If the wolves were going for a kill that can't be linked to anyone, I would have thought that they'd go for one of the no-shows (unless they thought McConor was a special or at least one no-show is a wolf)

Nevermind, that was useless - all he had was "Bowser Bowser Bowser, unsure of Untitled."

I'm clearly a super star, and I don't mind being the center of attention.

If you give the control of the vote of the inactive people to the hands of a dead townie suspecting a live townie, that complicates matters for town. It's not a bad move.

Still, I want to stuff a plumber into a pipe three sizes too small, not congratulate them on good tactical decisions.

That goes both ways, though, bowser. If you're a wolf and off a townie that suspicious of you, it's convenient to sway the village towards what you did above. Just saying.

wow, school just started and we're already voting .
Now how about you do something else then?

I don't mean to be a prick (probably those of you that think I do, will think so regardless of what I do or say), but the vets with dupes are consciously NOT taking the lead in this so that you new guys don't get overwhelmed. But at some point, you gotta just play the game. People not showing up, terrible activity, saying "I'm not good at hunting" prior to even trying to hunt...all that is not the way to learn it. After all this is Werewolf/Mafia. It's a game where it's ok to shout baseless accusations at each other, because that's what it's about. This feels more like kindergarten because everybody is afraid to step on somebody else's toes (or doesn't show up at all).

Really, either play the game or don't. Vets are constantly being chastised for not being noob-friendly enough, but all the vets in this game are trying to help you guys ease into this. We can help, but we can't play the game for you.

I mean this is ridiculous...besides those that haven't shown up at all, there are some that are non-active as ****. There's one guy who managed to make one (read: 1, read: I....sic!!!) post since the beginning of the game, which is more than a week. Either play Werewolf, or don't. But if you're curious about this game, then you gotta do something and not just sit around and hope somebody else does something that might entertain you.
