Please add a way for us to tell our groups (infantry, archers, cavalry, etc) to attack certain enemy groups. It would be great if we could tell our cavalry "focus attack on enemy archers" instead of just "charge" because often the entire charge ends up veering off to follow one random enemy and not plowing through the enemy infantry lines or circling around to ambush the archers behind enemy lines.
Also please consider adding an RTS type map before the battle begins where we can plan a strategy or tell our troops what path we want them to take or what specific group we want them to attack. AND/OR add an RTS type map during the battle that we can switch to that pauses the game and allows us to command troops and tell them what path we want them to take or what entry into the castle we want them to take or if we want them to beat down the door or anything like that.
Maybe even consider adding the ability to make battle plans before hand that can be selected from before a battle. Like a football team before each play, you as a general of your army can have pre-established plans/strategies that you created and that you can then select before a battle depending on the enemy units or weather or terrain etc. Example could be a plan where we want the cavalry to charge and break the enemy line only when they are X amount of meters away or a plan where we want the Cavalry to circle around the side of the map and charge from a certain angle. You could have a plan where your soldiers wait out of range of arrows until the cavalry engage the archers or the walls have been breached. A plan where everyone with a spear forms a line and protects against an enemy cavalry charge, but then breaks formation/switches to swords to finish the enemy off. You could even have a plan where once the infantry have been 50% killed they retreat behind the archers or the cavalry swoops in to help or stuff like that. Actual plans instead of just "go here" "attack" "retreat" "Form a line" "form a circle".
