I used the cheat CTRL+T and can find just 4 "enemies" army on all westeros, essos is better, but i think that it has less than needed, a picture is impossible because the map is giant. Test CTRL+T and chech it. Another bug is in Kodoma's tavern, it crashes the game. And another thing, WTF Three Sisters are a faction? I think they are starks vassals.

Sorry about my english.

Obs: I have only 10 days game, maybe a trigger allow more spawn enemies on map.

I think technically the Sisters are vassals of the Vale, but only in name. They pretty much rule themselves so I can understand making them a separate faction.

Also, in the previous version, the North would keep attacking the vale to try and gain the sisters. Now i think this will solve that problem.

For some reason there is a bandit army led by a guy with the same name as me ( Sean Markie, real name and the one im using in game ) and it came up saying '' Sean markie of the player faction has been captured by myr ''

I thought it was funny when I saw the name but :L.. so apparently theres a duplicate me XD

The Three Sisters faction is a complicated deal, I'll admit. There are a number of reasons I've included them.

First of all, The Sisters are indeed vassals of the Arryns, but in name only. They rule themselves, as evident in the Arryns inability to stop them from pirating.

Second of all, I originally included them as a  "backup" or "placeholder faction", to be replaced by an invading faction (won't say which one, but it appears close to the ancestral seat of House Connington). I later added Lorath as that placeholder faction, because I sort of liked the Sisters being their own thing. This obviously means that Lorath will at some time, maybe, be removed and replaced with another faction. Or I'll add some more, but it's gonna be tricky, as I did not do the troops nor items in the source code, but rather edited the .txt files. Which might **** up everything.

Anyhow, far in the future all this.

I am looking for ways to make the diplomacy messages less annoying. I agree, it's horrible. Also looking into the in-game troop trees, but that is a low priority thing, it's really more of a novelty feature. I didn't even know about it until someone brought it up.

Is there a general consensus that more looter/bandits/slavers/dothrakis are needed on the map? Larger parties, more spawns, or both?

Wow, I cannot describe what it was like to read this. Where you by any chance captured by Myr around the same time?

There should be more bandits, yes.
I actually think the balance you had in 0.4 was about right.
Perhaps some variations on group sizes, but generally speaking it worked for me.

@ Cozur: Both!!!! And they should be slower. And thanks for looking into the diplomacy messages, this is the most game-breaking part of the game.

Otherwise: Great work, Cozur!

Combination I have used, if you're going to more or less behave yourself:
Longley, Snow, Yohnas, Maron, Osgrey, Lyberr, Storm, Sand, Rivers.

They aren't perfect but will go along. Most of them are pretty raw so it's up to you to decide what specialisations to assign but a couple have predispositions (Storm - Healing, Lyberr - Path Finding). All of the other characters would give you a rough idea if you want to play a bit meaner.

I am sorry that I repeat myself, but I hope someone can answer my question: is there any guide for the companions? Ayone has set of stable companions? What companions do you play with?

Cozur, do you plan to add aditional bridges to the map? In some cases it's crazy how one shoud travel long way around rivers - big and small. In the book there is mention of ferries and shallow places where rivers can be crossed.
Regarding the map - shouldn't the Golden tooth be the only way into the Westerlands from the Riverlands? Right now there are few mountains between the Riverlands and the Westerlands that do not restrict the movement at all.

Nonetheless it is a great mod, thanks for your work!!

It seems Snow dislikes both Longley and Osgrey. I ll have to make a change. If anyone can give more info on companion compatibility, please!

Very cool mod!

Ran into a strange bug: when trying to assault a castle (after besieging it and making some ladders), battle takes places on some strange mountain map with a lake several meters from the starting position. There are no walls around and I am not able to get to the enemy through all the hills. I encountered this problem while attacking Sweetsister and also Darry.

My problem mentioned earlier (about the castle Oakenshield) where I tried to free prisoners is similar to the picture above this post.

Great scenes btw

Got a few more issues I noticed today.

In the village of Plowman's Hill (little north of kings landing) when I walk around looking for the village elder there is none, instead there is a shirtless guy named Merchants End.  I figure this is the replacement village elder since he has the bodyguard next to him.

Also, the guy who sells unsullied, Graznak whatever.  I DID have over 10k which is supposed to be enough to buy him and send him to your village but when I clicked on that it still went straight to "cant afford that."  Note that I was already in my capital town when I found him so maybe the fact that he wasn't going to need to move caused the error?

Other things Ive noticed which aren't bugs but the game seems ridiculous with Lords changing factions.  I currently have Winterfell and ONE other town in the north that still belong to the Starks, the rest is a total spectrum of other factions NONE of which invaded, (and yes half of them are from Essos).  Ive seen Lannister family members fighting for half of the other families now!  Lord disloyalty and being able to swap teams really needs to be nerfed big time.

One thing I really do like is Lord party size and respawn rate.  Ive seen numerous lesser Lords running around with parties of 20-39 and I like that.  I want them to eventually get up to 150+ but I like that its not automatic after 5 minutes in any castle.

And lastly I want to ask a question:  I have always been a one handed scimitar wielder as soon as I can in practically every mod and vanilla.  Yet I have not seen a scimitar or arkah on sale ANYWHERE yet.  I checked every city in Essos, most of them numerous times.  I checked Dorne (even though they should be spear users primarily) and every faction on the east coast of Westeros and have still not found one.  I managed to get a Bronze Arkah off a dothraki war party (was hunting for them for over an hour before I finally got that drop).  The Bronze Arkah is great but I want to know if anybody has an iron one or anything better.  The stats for my Bronze Arkah is 30 damage and 120 reach, 104 speed I believe.

Also, random but wanted to mention that attacking Kings Landing is a nightmare.  Even with a totally maxed army of Unsullied I got spanked like a little baby lol.  Gold Cloaks are all Elite level troops.  Is this how they are supposed to be?

This is a nice-looking mod, I'll have to spend a bit of time playing it.

I noticed that Disgruntled Goat isn't credited for the dragon equipment you've used. Did you get his permission to use those models? I've seen a few instances on these forums where modders have unknowingly stolen Third Age Total War models because they were given them by other modders who claimed the work as their own. (I'm thinking of AlexDragon in particular) In case you're confused, I'm referring to this stuff:

I had already included that stuff when I was notified that they where, in fact, not OSP.

To the best of my knowledge, the files are in the mod, but the items themselves are not useable in-game. The reason I did not delete them entirely is that it would have caused problems with the items.

Either way, the entire items list has been redone for 0.5 and the stuff stolen from The Third Age has been completely removed.

Any way you could get permission from King Kong to use that TATW stuff? Or is that too complicated? That golden war horse looks pretty damn cool.

Cozur dude shame on you, stealing other mod's resources without asking permission. Yes the model was orginally made by Disgrunted Goat, we (Chinese modders like alex and dancert have already asked him for permission) then we import the model into Mnb by skinning/ texturing and modelling.

wuhaha.png

The model on mnb version belongs to us and we made it on mount and blade (but the model was originally made by Disgrunted Goat, i doubt you have ask his permission nor you have ask us the Chinese community, and even if you do have asked Disgrunted Goat does not mean you can use our mnb imported/ remade model, please remove our mnb model from your mod now, you are a thief, import the model yourself and see how hard it is to import it: we have send you multiple message before and you just ignores them).

if you have managed to get permission from disgrunted goat (we highly doubt since Goat rarely gives permission), import the model from third age then put it on your mod, then don't use ours and go and use yours. it's not that easy as you think as to press import then export, its not easy as that and it is completely different compare to openbrf, without much gaming-design skill i doubt u can do it. The file Dragon/DragonF brf files is still not removed and is still in your Clash of Kings Mod, which means u have lie about not using them in your mod. And you said you are going to remove it, its easy, just go to module.ini, delete the lines called dragonF/ dragon then remove the brf/ textures files.

we are very very angry that you keeps ignoring our message for over many weeks and yet you have not reply, so we will acts now
you are a thief, stop making lies dude, the items are 100% USEABLE in the game because dancert imports them into mnb, go and import it yourself like the picture below, after you have imported it the model won't be the same as in Third Age total war since it will looks much different (Look at the importer of Blood in the west, he import models from TATW and most models were too low quality because he is not a good moddler on 3D gaming-design programmer)

if you ever managed to import it and made it in your version, we won't say no more since after you imported it, both model will have a great difference depends on your 3D MAX skill/ MAYA skinning skill

some example of import:

I'm very sad that it has come to this.

First of all, here is my original reply to the quote you used:

That should pretty much solve that.

Furthermore, the models you are having such a fit over are not included in ACOK 0.5, the new version, which you should probably checked.

I'm very tired of you people harrasing me, sending me all sort of messages in half-broken english. I'm not going to reply to them, because all of this is just silly.

As a side note, I'd like to add that you have some ******** nerve.

That Alex guy has been continually stealing other peoples work, the latest example being him stealing all of the 1257 AD models, so him having his cronies stalking me on various websites, making baseless accusations is the pinnacle of hypocracy.

Now bugger off, or we'll have to get a moderator involved.
