But, it is Thursday my dudes and the show must go on... Instead, in this week’s blog, we will talk about how we approach game design here at TaleWorlds, giving you a brief insight into the general process of taking an idea and turning it into a game feature.

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/82

Yeah, the people that I want to suggest the game to specifically are the ones who comes / came to read this blog. Them who complain of the no release date.

Besides, checked the game out and wasn't impressed.

Yes, not to good, but if it is true that it was developed by one man, I would be impressed. I myself learning to make a game with a game engine, can't say which game engine for fear being warned again
It's a hard work!

I've decided to learn guitar until this comes out. I should be able to master it in that time frame.
Gonna reach an Hybrid state between Jimmy Page and Slash by then :shifty:

It's not that hard to play like Jimmy Page or Slash in 2 years. Both aren't the virtuoso type, their playing is a bit sloppy to be honest.

But I'm pretty sure their writing is unparalleled!

I call to the stand Mors Dalos Ra of the late Necros Christos, exhibit albums Triune Impurity Rites, Nine Graves, and Domedon Doxomedon.

Your honor, the defense has made a conclusion implying artistry beyond measure. I would like to point out any music fan's appreciation and recognition for the above mentioned Mors Dalos Ra of Necros Christos who I declare is a guitarist and musician beyond measure.

This whole thing is a kangaroo court. Does nobody remember Terry Kath?

So the people who want the game to rise from the sulfurous flames of development hell are "the annoying release date squad" now? It... It feels so good to be a part of something.

Speaking of which.

I hope what assistant designer Maneet Chauhan is doing that kept them away from the Q and A was writing the release date for the game on a big sign and having photos taken so they can be posted soon.

ARD Squad, hold positions!

Yeah, I can't say I've ever seen this forum as 'over-moderated'. In fact, I've seen a few threads/posts I was quite surprised were allowed to continue. Then again, perhaps I'm just managing to somehow miss it all .

Personally, I have no issue with people who are generally curious about the state of the game, and want info on the release. What can get on my nerves is that some people, despite knowing that TW's has repeatedly said they will not release info for the release date until they are sure they've got it right, since they've made mistakes before, continuously post the same question, usually accompanied by some sort of vitriol against this forum, the members, the entire TW's team, or some combination of the above.

I'll give two examples, one I don't think anyone would have a problem with, and a version I feel people are complaining about.

1: "Hey, haven't checked in in a while, just wanted to know if there's been any update as far as when this game will release. Can't wait to play, keep up the good work TW's!" (acceptable).

2: "Wow, seriously TW'S? No wonder your only fans are the no-lifes who hang out on these forums, you can't even release a game in a reasonable amount of time. Game doesn't even look that good anyway, not like something that took 10 years to develop. Have fun waiting forever for your broken game guys!" (Ok, perhaps a slight exaggeration, but I've seen posts similar to this here).

In other words, it's not necessarily the question that upsets people, but the aggressive and hurtful tone that makes people want to ban these users.

I'm honestly surprised that in a forum which everyone considers rather oppressive the mods have yet to come hammering down...
Do they? There's certainly a small, vocal group that says so, but I guess they've never been to a relatively strict forum like Paradox's. By their standards, we're a lawless wasteland. Besides, I think Lolbash's post was just a poorly-delivered joke and not meant to be malicious in any way. The thought does count.

If something does bother you, please use the report button in the bottom-right corner of the post. The moderators are not omnipresent, but if you bring something to our attention then we will investigate. We also don't want to police every little thing that gets posted, so a couple of members getting a little heated from time to time isn't a big deal, but if they get too carried away then we'll rein them in.
