Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!​

The days of Dwarves’ glory have passed.
The Heirs of the Seven Fathers lost the power and wealth
of their forefathers. Instead famous and bright lamps of Dwarves
only orcish torches and dark fire of Balrog
drives away the night from the Halls of Khazad-dûm.
Songs of thousands horns and trumpets don’t proclaim mighty meetings of
Seven Kings of Dwarves in Gundabad anymore,
only echo of nasty orcish speech sounds there. And who besides Smaug the Golden
can admire the Arkenstone? Today the Golden Age of Dwarves
remains only in old songs and legends. The days of ruin and red blades have come.
The power of Dwarves has gone… hasn’t it? The Golden Age was displaced by the Iron Age,
but iron and steel are far stronger than gold. Heroes from old legends
were left in the past, but new heroes were grown. Today songs sing not about skilled artisans,
but about brave warriors. Grief and desperation have united seven clans,
which are ready to face their enemies now. And even only Mandos knows result of this fight,
there is one thing that cannot be doubt: there will be no quarter.

Nightfall of Middle-Earth: Khazâd ai-mênu! is a mod for Mount&Blade: Warband, which talks about the war between Dwarves and Orcs of Misty Mountains in 2793-2799. Take a long path with few heroes from the foothills of Blue Mountains to the Valley of Azanulbizar and see the beginning of great history. Fight in epic battles under mountains. Open for yoursef this war, lost between Past and the Future. Loud laughter and tears of pain, chest blows and stabs in back, hope and despair, hunger and chill, valour and death were here. You'll see that.
