I was going to complain about how slow this thread is but then i saw how long this mod has been in development and I decided to back off.
Does the team have any plans for multiplayer? If this question has already been answered just tell me where i can look it up and ill save you the trouble.

We have plans, but the realism makes us finish the original game and then focus on the expansion.
We've our own forum, page, community, downloads and followers on ModDB. One of the most vibrant of the site. Always on the top 40.

We're currently testing our infrastructure for multiplayer gaming.
Stay tuned for our Mount&Blade Warband port.

when i read this i jizzed

Maybe this is not a good place to post this, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere and don't really want to look through 426 pages of posts without a guarantee that it's there, so I'll just ask here anyway, I apologize in advance if this is the wrong spot.

Does this mod have a Warband release? I played it on the original M&B and I loved it, so I was just wondering if there is a Warband release I can find somewhere, and if there is, what versions is it compatible with?

Haha, me too!
Thank you so much for continuing your work on this mod. It is by far the best mod for M&B.

So are you folks just forgoing the M&B release, and are going to do the port to Warband instead? That is the impression which I got from the site. I don't really mind either way, but I am very excited for this.

There are conflicting messages. The staff continue to iterate that the mnb release will come first and warband will come soon after but then you get messages like the one stated above.
Also it needs to be understood what they mean by soon afterward. They say that it should be done before the end of the year but also take into account that this mod has been in development for 6 years.
Soon for them could have a different meaning than it does for you and I.

jesus how long does it take to make a mount and blade game for warband i been waiting ages for a warband version of this

It's more simple than that. We're finishing up with the original game.
The Warband version will be the same, everything will be reused. So the missing parts are the multiplayer and better graphics.

So while we're finishing up the entire singleplayer experience for all the Mount&Blade series. I'm trying to get started with the multiplayer part.
That's all. Cool isn't it?

If you want to play something unfinished then cool. I hate when you start to complain about the wait.
I don't know you, but I usually like to have vacations.

Lets see... I have about a million things I could say...but I'll say this...

The MB 1.011 version is, in my opinion, one of the best mods that has ever been released. Some Warband mods, if stable (like Brytenwalda), would take that title, but this is still my favorite as of this post.
If you really think it is that easy to make a mod this big...for a completely different engine with different code support....then ask Swyter for the Module System and try to port it yourself.

Oh, and Swyter or Hokie... you guys should look into getting a Child Board.

Mods based on copyrighted IPs don't get subboards.

There are some bizarrely arbitrary exceptions to this rule, it seems, with Ranger's Apprentice and Revenge of the Berserk. I'm sure the administrators had some sort of reason for that, though, such as never hearing of either of them.

That is really odd then....
And I don't see why that is. I mean....Lucasfilms has never had an issue with people making SW mods for any game unless you're copying stuff from a commercial SW product....

Really looking forward to the release. Been holding off playing and checking regularly if its out yet.

I'm not active anymore, but I do have access to the beta version that is under development.  I just wanted to say that Swyter and the rest of the team are doing a great job from what I have seen.  Models & scenes have been significantly improved, a lot of my coding issues have been resolved, and in general the version seemed much more 'polished'.  So I just wanted to make a general statement that the team is busy, in real life and working on this mod, but this isn't dead and the changes should significantly improve the last release.  go hokies, go star wars conquest!

EDIT: Nevermind I found the answer myself.

So, good luck! Great and unique idea to bring star wars to mount and blade series!

i just hope tihs great mod gets to warband for the continuity.i mean, it's the mod i most played in 1.011, and if it comes for warband...

And yet again. I've deployed a master server in Google Data Centers. Guess the rest.

I'm not going to enter in detail, but you'll have lots of awesome features apart from a persistent profile across all the server infrastructure.
Glad you like it.
