I was with 2 of my friends  . We wasted so much time that the museum was about to close so I did not have time to take photos of everything .However there are really interesting stuff there . I am gonna make a very detailed tour on Tuesday.
I would upload some pictures I took but they did not turn out as I wanted. So I will do that on Tuesday instead.  :???:

By the way, when you talk of 'tiny banners on Lord icons' is this on the world map or in battle scenes?
In the world map. I noticed it too, the banners on lords' parties are way smaller than in warband. I didn't like it at first as it would make
It harder to identify people, but then I remembered that you can zoom in a lot further in Bannerlord (so large banners would be over the top) and party icons are a copy of the Lord and his equipment etc. So you have that extra detail to differentiate them.

In case some people missed these.
These were released on a Japanese website.

It seems the banners on the castle in the second screenshot are different for some reason. *Shrugs*

The second banners (blue and red) are from the e3 gameplay. The black ones are either bugged or a different battle.

The "cloak" slot is a  shoulder wear feature.  You see loads of Sturgians with furs around their neck in tge siege offence gameplay.  You also see Achion with a fur shoulder piece during diplomacy talks in the siege defence vid.  It would be great if they implemented full length cloaks and capes into this item  slot
Yea I thought of that too. I was thinking that slot could be used by both shoulder items and cloaks. The icon on that slot even looks like a cloak.

I doubt we will see moving capes because that would require them to have properties that no other clothing in the game has. All armour and clothing is static, unaffected by wind or contact with other objects.

It's possible though. A mod like L'aigle was able to have dynamic banners in battles even though most other items are static. Also I'm talking about the world map.

Cloth simulation is pretty straightforward to programme (you can google dozens of potential solutions) and if TW was having serious problems with it I'd be worried.
Oh wow. Let's hope that I'm completely wrong then :???:

Re Banners, it's probably more of a cpu load thing. If you had to choose between twice as many troops vs half as many but with banners which might you go for? They seem to be unable to answer the question of how many troops on the field at a time is their intended goal.

I highly doubt that is the reason.

I do not know why, but I always imagined that the empire of calradia was going to be similar to the faction of "The Union" in the books of the first law of joe abercrombie.

Issue I have with the PC gamer screens, that I've just noticed, is that some of them don't seem like the latest build/version of the game.
In the latest siege gameplay we saw the colour of the banner being displayed on troop's armour/clothing. However these screens show a lot of armour with what I assume to be the default white.

Yeah. Because maybe the banner is white.

I'm guessing everything is still open for changes, but I hope they keep the overall aesthetic in those PC gamer screens. Very nice work with the shaders.
A few nighttime and early morning/late evening screenshots wouldn't have hurt

Why not? Unless they've managed to get the GPU to handle collision (not common for game engines from what I know), having hundreds of fully dynamic banners would mean the CPU would have to calculate their appearance. Not an ideal task for the CPU, and there would be no way of scaling it as if it were a GPU task.
