This is the face of Europe, as the great leaders of the major nations in Europe, your goal is to secure a lasting peace, by dominating the civilized world.

Do this by gaining 18 of the 34 control centers on the map.

May the cleverest of the generals succeed.

Players:
Great Britain (Arbites Augmented)
Germany (Nemesis)
Russia (Rathyr)
France (Trooper)
Italy (Agent Griff)
Austria (Vulkan)
Turkey (Mage246)

Moves must be PMed or E-mailed to me by Saturday, July 19th.

Da Rulez:
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Diplomacy/Rules

According to the rulebook I found (the link is in the previous topic), the initial positions are as follows:

Austria-
Army in Vienna, Army in Budapest, Fleet In Trieste

England-
Fleet in London, Fleet In Edinburgh, Army in Liverpool

France-
Army in Paris, Army in Marseilles, Fleet in Brest

Germany-
Army in Berlin, Army in Munich, Fleet in Kiel

Italy-
Army in Rome, Army in Venice, Fleet in Naples

Russia-
Army in Moscow, Fleet in Sevastopol, Army in Warsaw, Fleet in St. Petersburg (south cost)

Turkey-
Fleet in Ankara, Army in Constantinople, Army in Smyrna

We are using these dispositions, correct?

Also, will you be posting updated maps or should we be making our own?

I`ve got the map posted in the first post.

Hmm so are we going to wait until the 19th no matter what, or will we move forward if everyone sends their moves in?

Do we have to send orders in any particular notation, or can we just say, for example, "Army in X support fleet in Y moving into Z"?

If I can make sense of it, it is in proper notation.

Can I request colors on Provinces that are assumed to be under a possession? Just for flavour?

I'll make a shot at it for the next turn, sure.

Thanks. Another small request? Must an army be represented by a tank? This is 1901? Can't you get a little Infantry thing?

Please, please, I am using Jdip.  Those are the icons that I am given.

I can try and use paint to color assumed control regions, but, no guarantees.

Yeah, the French had tanks in WW2, they just didn't have a clue how to use them

Start a new game and chose either period for the unit set or simple. Or just go to the top under preferences and you can set it there.
