They are about as effective as a lump of frozen butter but don’t be fooled into thinking they are totally harmless!

I feel deeply offended. My great-great-aunt died from a frozen butter that feel from the fridge onto her toenail, which made an open nail injury that was infected. It evolved into gangrene and she died vomiting rice-a-roni and corn, after a sneeze that made a blood clot on her left brain side, all because she was trying to guess the release date for bannerlord.

Noyce blog. It was an entertaining read.
Now... another week of waiting ensues.

Greetings warriors of Calradia!

In this week's blog we'll take a look at an all-time favourite of our series, and possibly the core object of our games: stones. With the following video, you will be able to witness the intricate process that goes into creating such pieces for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

Of course, it's a joke.

Hahahahaha, this was great!

What's next:
Movement: Moving around is key as is knowing your surroundings in this dangerous and chaotic world. Luckily you'll have your trusty mouse to watch out for obstacles like Trees, rocks and small farm animals. Using your keyboard W key will give you the freedom to move and drive forward. The letter A will be your ally in allowing you to sidestep left - a nifty treat.  D will allow the same in a more Right manner while pressing and holding S, watchout!! your moving backwards!

WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

You bring tears to my eyes and joy to my shriveled unbuttery heart.

wait, I see some real potential for making a really OP frozen butter throwable weapon.  oil is flamable right?  maybe you could freeze the butter, start it on fire, and throw it?  medieval napalm!!!!!

also agree with all above comments, terribly insulting blog for the fans.  There was no interesting/unexpected info in this blog.

Adding slings would delay the game release date at least 1-4 months, because they would need to program the feature and animate the animations, then add the slings to the menus and model them and create icons and create whole new sling shot class and do all bug testing again with that class and balance the damage. Then how the characters are carrying slings and the stones? That would also need to be designed. If they would start adding them to the story also, it would mean even more delay. etc etc.

Only part i enjoyed was the rock joke
Guessed this blog right last week. I'm going to have to agree and assume next week is on the different types of armor.
Even though these blogs are aimed at "new" players(which i feel is a insult to even them). IMO they could at least add a small video of each weapon to keep us entertained.

Well, that blog was certainly anticlimactic, although I did enjoy the minor stabs at the community. You know that rock bit was to aggravate certain aggressors here on the forums. You want actual updated info? You get rocks.

Can we use our pavise shield for protect us while reloading the crossbow?
Maybe in this way

Well , you've got a point here, in my opinion .

I don't know if it is feasible but dimensions should influence the potential  of parrying for any given object . Also great shields should have extra passive parrying potential . Obviously there could rise balancing issues .

To summarize , I tend to think that any shield should have passive protection directly depending  on its dimensions and weight or mass if you prefer .

So  pavise crossbowmen should be slow to move in the battlefield  and slower to load but it is accurate to consider them very well protected even while they load .

Some of our factions make use of mounted archers (Khuzait in particular) and we are giving careful thought and consideration into balancing them with this the rest of our units, (which, admittedly, is something we didn’t quite achieve with Warband).

To say the least. They were completely useless when used by AI, and completely broken and cancerous when used in MP

Instead of that I'd like the ability to actually deploy them. Like they were done IRL, and in many mods. And then have the crossbowmen take cover behind them when reloading

Look, I love M&B and what you guys are doing, and I hate to be that guy; I feel bad for complaining, but these last 2 blogs were a bit of a joke

Next to 0 effort is going into these blogs - no proper pictures, no GIFs, no videos, just a wall of text telling everybody everything they likely already know or have no interest in (check other comments for reference)

Even if you have ran out of stuff to talk about, why not just give us in game pictures? They don't even need to be relevant to the blogs - just a bit of eye candy to keep us going

Lack of information could easily be remedied by visual pleasures

People are waiting every week for you to release something, only to be, for the most part, utterly disappointed.

I checked all comments on these threads to see if it was just me being petty, turns out maybe it isn't?

A lot of people in your community are laughing at you, literally.

You are not the only one complaining. But you are one of many few. Of all the thousands and thousands waiting for bannerlord, only a hundred are complaining. And I dont see whats there to complain about. And I dont think anyone is laughing either
