Dressing up Khivachis:

So I decided to write a little tweak for Khivachis, since I know everyone wants to take away her dragon! Including me!

Go to your Modules/Perisno_0.8 folder
Back up dialog states.txt and conversation.txt

Open dialog_states.txt
Add these two lines at the end of the file:
khivachis_trade
do_khivachis_trade
Make sure the last line of the file is empty (press Enter), otherwise the game won't recognize the end of the file and your game will crash or something.

Then open conversation.txt
Increase the number in the second line (6214, if your conversations.txt is not modified) by +3 (6217, if you haven't modded conversations)
Find this line:

dlga_member_chat:khivachis_talk 595 13  0 It_is_an_honor_to_be_a_part_of_your_fine_company_of_men.  21  0 NO_VOICEOVER

Insert these 3 lines after it:

dlga_khivachis_talk:khivachis_trade 66131 21 0 My_friend,_can_I_see_your_equipment?  2891 0 NO_VOICEOVER
khivachis_trade:do_khivachis_trade 4095 2891  0 Very_well,_it's_all_here...  2892  1 2051 0 NO_VOICEOVER
do_khivachis_trade:dlga_khivachis_talk 4095 2892  0 Anything_else?  21  0 NO_VOICEOVER

Save the files.

This only works if you haven't modded the conversation / dialogues before. If you have, you should be able to adapt this tweak for yourself.

I doubt that people who want to trade with her are after her dragon, except in the sense that they want it gone. 

I want to give a Persino horse, get her in uniform (Fountain guard plate) and give her ranged capabilities.  But I like to play the mod as the authors released it, I do not mod anything but aesthetics. (banners, facial features, etc.)

Which is why I still hope that the developers give us a way to do it legitimately... even if she asks for 200,000 in cash to ship her dragon to her order.

Same thing. Last time i played foot only, dragon was removed with Morgh's, but priestess herself still wasn't geared in the same theme as rest of companions ...
 
I was just joking about the dragon.
The tweak is supposed to help people dress Khivachis up, hence the name.
Considering the amount of assistance the Player Character gives to her order (escorting Wyvern Riders and eradicating several hundreds hostile cultists) it makes perfect sense for her to agree to ride a normal horse instead of a dragon and use different weapons and armor. Leonion is just stubborn about it :smile:
 
Hi, loving the mod. I am having some problems with textures loading it seems. Everytime I come across a number of armors my game tabs out to the desktop and tells me that it couldn't load the texture. I can tab back into the game but the armor is pure black. The armors I have noticed so far are black_dress.dds, bronn_armor.dds, boots_crusader_b_normalmap.dds, boots_crusader_b.dds, brass_haubergeon.dds, brigandine_b_heraldic.dds, and brigandine_b_heraldic_nm.dds. I have been able to keep the game from tabbing out by turning off load texture on demand, butt many items are still solid black. Is there a hotfix for this?
 
rallot, you listed regular items.
There are some "wrong" textures in Perisno (e.g. their dimensions are not the power of 2) that could be incorrectly processed, but these are ordinary.
So it's either something got corrupted during the download/installation or your PC doesn't have enough memory or something like this...
 
So I figured it out, I realized I had manually downloaded the mod after already subscribing to it on steam and forgetting about it. Somehow the saves I made in the moddb download saved to the steam perisno folder. I unsubbed from the steam version and moved the save over and now the textures are all there. Thank you for the response though.
 
I have to reinstall the whole Perisno, avoiding Steam because it could get complicated using both versions as written just above.
I believe I'm supposed to install in that order:
- Perisno_0.8.14
- Perisno_0.81.Patch
- P0.811_NO_PBOD
Just tell me it that's wrong, my worry being with this 814 main file number which makes that first file look like it's newer than the 81 patch and the 811 fix.

With hotfix I need 20 relationships with the guildmaster to build an enterprise, is it a bug? Without hotfix you need 1 relation

but just to be sure, the Steam Workshop version is the latest, including the hotfix, right?
 
Okay, so, If I understand you well, I don't have to apply the Perisno_0.81.Patch on top of the Perisno 0.81 FULL.
Only the - P0.811_NO_PBOD hotfix which makes the latest Perisno being: Perisno 0.81 Full  +  P0.811_NO_PBOD hotfix

Just to make sure I'm currently playing the Perisno as it's supposed to be: with that newer version, I don't have a "PBOD" option in the Camp menu anymore, neither a "Cheat" option which is also gone, right?

Last question: would that make it the same Perisno game if using the Perisno Steam Workshop file + Perisno_0.81.Patch + P0.811_NO_PBOD hotfix?

Conditions of accessibility of the cheat menu are exactly the same as in Native.

In theory, steam file should already be up-to-date.
But you can install patch and hotfix just in case.
 
Is there anything obvious in game telling for certain you're up to date, up to hotfix 811?

Would this work to check the version, Leonion? i.e. checking the relation level required to start an enterprise in a town?

To be clear, is it true that without the hotfix you need 1 relation to start an enterprise, and with the hotfix you need 15?
 
I don't remember. I made those changes several months ago.
To be sure, just install patch 0.81 and then hotfix 0.811 on top of whatever 0.8xxxxx you installed before.

Yeah, the starting Adventurer quest. The one that sends you to beat up some peasants and take their dosh.
If it's working, then you're on the latest hotfix.
