Maybe you have the PBODless version installed.
 
Zoke20, install correct patches/hotfixes in the correct order.

I am having a problem with pre deployment orders. Say I want my archers to move back 10 and infantry to move forward 20. I issue the commands and start the battle. When the battle starts they just line up in one big line all mixed together.  Does this feature not work in this mod or I am not doing correctly in this mod maybe? Have tested this with tactics 2-10 with same result.

I am running.

version 1.172 warband
version 0.814 Perisno + patch 0.811 with PBOD

Same problem here, the trainer's men doesn't tell me nothing after the third win just offers another duel. Any idea?
 
So there are like 3 (I think there are 3, saw one at Forde, Khul Vara and Arish).


So they all have at least 600 men and it just keeps growing. I mean, sure. They move slow, but jesus christ.

Yea, my largest one is over 1300 now. I dunno what to do about it, lmao. It's just running around Drahara like a turtle.

Now I know what it was like for lords when a revolt goes out of control.
 
Just kite them into any marshal force or lead one to them.

They shouldn't usually grow, considering that recruitment restrictions work for NPC parties too.
In my game even church of faith's parties (good relation with most factions + high-level leaders) never managed to grow strong, losing more people to battles than recruiting after them.

That's waaaaayyyyy more scarier than the Zann Hordes or the Demon Worshipper unique spawns. :shock: Damn Escaped Prisoners have a way better troop roster than I could ever have. :facepalm:
 
I really want to love this mod but i must say there are some pretty glaring issues so far.

First off im trying to build up rep and marry someone in the Drahara faction

1. 90% of the time Feasts are announced and do not happen.  I've literally waited days and no feast.
2. So far 100% of the time when a quest is given for bandit camp it doesn't exist anywhere (used cheats to verify this)
3. Finally got a feast to actually take place and guess what? 0 females there.  So far i am unable to make any contact whatsoever with female NPCs to start courting them.
4. The adventurer NPC gives a starter quest but after completing it he would not give my reward and finish the quest for me. He is basically useless at this point.
5. The faction chart is pointless because only a few factions show.  Its layout does not work for the amount of factions in this mod.
6. Auto sell causes error whenever you leave a castle.

There are a bunch more things ive noticed that are small issues.

The biggest issues for me are the Female NPCs. There needs to be more of them and the mechanics need to work otherwise its extremely difficult to marry for certain factions.

EDIT: oh and i just experienced another MASSIVE problem.  I was a merc for Drahara for literally 90 days or so and built up 100 relationship.  The moment i stopped my contract i lost all rep with them and was back to -2. WTF?  This is seriously fubar.  All that work was a complete waste of time.

1-2 - are you sure?
Never encountered this myself, never heard of it from anyone.
3 - ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯. Were there any fathers at that feast? They should have brought their daughters.
Also was it a fest in town? Feasts in castles are pretty bad considering the low amount of spawn points.
Although Diplomacy guest rotation should still work.
4 - should be fixed in either 0.81 or 0.811, afair.
5 - yep, we know it. Can't do anything about it though.
Female NPCs - there are almost 150 of these beautiful clones. Plus 2 lady-lords.
And what mechanics? I don't think male hero + lady lady courtship mechanics changed at all in comparison to Native.
Just a couple of tournaments, several poems - and I and Lady Kathryn lived happily ever after.
"MASSIVE problem" - welcome to Warband. Relations with major factions always get reset when you change them, which is pretty reasonable mechanics and will not be changed.

The feast starts as soon as it is announced.  It can be canceled at any time, depending on what happens to the host, his marshal, or his kingdom.  You have been waiting after the fief has ended, not before it started.

If you mean that you used cheats to reveal everyone on the map or to teleport all over in search of a hideout... it does not work.  Get a save editor, and look up the coordinates of the party that holds the hideout's defenders.  Then teleport there, and walk around for a while. Only then you will know it is bugged.

The ladies of marriageable age do not go anywhere by themselves.  They will not show up unless their guardians do.  Their guardians will take a while to arrive, if they ever do.  If the host is unpopular, if the realm is in trouble, if the marshal calls a campaign, no one shows up.

Seriously, all of these are basic Warband mechanics.  Pick a wife to be, befriend her father, get permission to court her, and go from there.  Meeting chicks at parties is fun, and if you are an experienced player, you can bear the cost of going over the guardian's head, but if you are still learning the ropes, go the traditional route, i.e. get permission.

Oh, this reminds me - is it possible to court and marry a female NPC as a female character?
Not talking about Princesses Brigit or Lithrandil, I mean the regular ladies.

Because I have a tale to tell!
In one of my playthroughs I joined Hakkon Empire as a vassal, intending to help them become a world power, instead of getting destroyed. And after marrying Hakkon Herminius (female character), I could suddenly court his sister!  :lol:
I hope this is intended and I can make a harem.
If not, can this please be a feature for the next update? :grin:
