It's really awsome to see the rebirth of this mod it was the first one i played and still remains as one of my favourite!
Played a bit of this new version it looks promising!

One suggestion on the name of king of France Louis IX: he shoul'nt be named "the saint" in 1257, he was canonized only in 1297, almost thirty years after his death.

I have some knowledge in medieval history/archeology of France, i might be able to do some more historical/realistic/uniques scenes for the Kingdom Of France if you are interested!
Ok. I changed the title in his name.

About the scenes: I will be grateful if you could do that. I'm more interested in fixing the siege scenes that plague the mod though.

Hey Kratos,

Can you test if these match in game? It's a bit hard to eyeball since textures usually look a bit different once actually applied. Just want to make sure the base Jerusalem knight looks good before I start working on the texture variations.

I have the surcoat, shield and horse textures for the Kingdom of Jerusalem knight in there.

https://dropfile.nl/f/xfLn

The Lily symbols on the horse still need some blending in, this is just for a quick test.

Here's some screenshots. The only issue i found was with the mail in the armors in the inventory. It looks "grainy".

Must be how I'm saving the files- I don't actually touch the mail and obviously the specular maps and normal maps haven't been touched at all.

Do you want my current module folder? I can upload all of it in a archive and send a PM with the link for you.

Had a question about town garrisons. I read that in the base mod garrisons have no upkeep if you have them auto gen (have the town manage it), is that no longer the case? My expenses have skyrocketed now that I have a town.

In the original you still paid but the cap was 10k. In EE you pay 30% of the cost with no cap.

I can kind of understand why they put a cap. My townsfolk go a bit overzealous sometimes and make a absolutely gigantic garrison that ends up bankrupting me. I've had to take control to avoid running in the red so I can dissolve the garrison from growing.

Custom Troop Tree attributes & funding has to get fixed.
To much points & money to spend at the second custom troop.

And the taking control of the garrison and losing everyone.

By the way.. Thank you for what you're doing.
I hope some random people join to help you with some random stuff.

You only need to download the latest patch since that has all the previous updates in it. So download the main file (1gb) and then extract the latest update in it.

Hi,
perhaps I'm blind but where is this update?

Don't set the town garrison to a high number than 800. Especially if you have a town that recruit expensive mercenaries like the Cumans.

I will add a option in the 1257 menu do disable the disbanding of the garrison.

Right i need someone to get some names (preferably medieval) for me to test the random lord generation and killing system (currently in development). I need names and surnames for:
Balts
French
Germans
Danish
Swedish
Norwegians
Welsh
Scottish
Gaelic
Spanish
Portuguese
Arabs
Turks
Poles
Hungarians
Bohemians
Serbians
Bulgarians
Greeks
Italians
Rus
Mongols
Finns

At least 20 names and 30 surnames will suffice. Anyone interested in helping can post here with the names and surnames under a spoiler. This will reduce the development time because i will not need to search for them myself.

To make things even easier for my end, people could use the format below when posting the names/surnames:
("enhanced_name_english_1", "Lewis"),
("enhanced_name_english_2", "John"),
("enhanced_name_english_3", "Edmund"),

("enhanced_surname_english_1", "Goldwell"),
("enhanced_surname_english_2", "Courtenay"),
("enhanced_surname_english_3", "Holt"),
The text in red is the name of the language (english, german, italian, etc) that you're posting the names for. The text in blue in the parenthesis is the actual name.

Hi. First - thans for developing this mod.

I'm not historian so next data may or may not help. I couldn't collect much surnames.

Some (kings, lords) last names (or family names) with aproximate centuries:
Branković (XIV-XV)
Balšić (XIV-XV)
Branivojević
Vlastimirović
Vojinović (XIV)
Vojislavljević (XI-XII)
Dejanović (XIV)
Dinjičić (XIV)
Zlatonosović (XIV)
Lazarević (XIV-XV)
Marnjavčević (XIV-XV)
Nemanjić (XII-XIV)
Oblačić (XIV)
I believe that 1257ad have more accurate names for the lords.

Serbian male names from Nemanjić (XII-XIV) time. This are common people names. Names are collected from documents from that time

Happy you try to make this mod more accurate. for the french names and surname the list from MichaelJ.Caboose are not really accurate, some aren't french some other are not from the good era or for commoners. The surnames are those from real french nobles, accurate to the era.

I'm french, so I have moved around the french part of the map some things are totally inaccurate :
- Lyon (my birth town) is not really at the good place, it must be on the big river (Rhône) exactly where the river is cut
- Reims can't be a village, it's now a little city, but at this era  it was  where the french kings were crowned ! It must be a city or a castle with a cathedral inside (where the king was crowned since the first french king Clovis in 496)
- Some other cities/castles/village are misplaced : Dijon is more south than is place other one too but I don't have the map right now

hope you can adjust that for more realism. Misplaced cities isn't the more important, the more important is the village of Reims, at this era it was the more important place of the french kingdom.

About the scenes: I will be grateful if you could do that. I'm more interested in fixing the siege scenes that plague the mod though.
Don't worry all the scenes i plan to do will have fully workable and uniques sieges scenes.
