Summary: Hello,
Pretty much since early access release of the game, my sons never inherited any traits, whereas the daughters I had shared their mothers' traits. But my nephews that were fathered by my brothers always mirrored their respective traits (Daring, Calculating). Same thing happened in other playthroughs. I couldn't find this issue in the known issues section, so I figured I'd make a post, thanks for reading.
Example:
I had 4 children with Liena, the daughters when born had the same gallant traits as their mother, whilst our two sons were reported to be "thoroughly conventional". My brother Nusun's sons however all received his traits when born.
How to Reproduce: Have male child, check traits, compare with female sibling.
