No, I don't think, so, played 0.99 quite a bit and didn't notice anything drastically different so far.Oldtimer said:Hi all,
is 0.99 more graphics intensive compared to earlier ver.?

2) They have heavy xbows that make them a lot more versatile and useful in sieges.
3) They're leadership experts.
They reeealy don't need lighter xbows usable on horseback.
Like which ones?Oldtimer said:I beg to differ. They get slaughtered by most other expensive cav.
Some minor factions troops may be missing from the list but that script is quite universal and should work in pretty much any mod.Oldtimer said:Is TTS compatible with 0.99?
I repeat my question: which ones?Oldtimer said:All instances where you rationalize zealot design miss the fact that other, cheaper troops can do same work better.

You're still avoiding the direct answer by resorting to some generic response about some unspecified better troops that are so "most" and numerous you could only name a single one and even that answer is wrong because demon priests are more expensive (88 vs 83, e.q. 526 vs 413), not much easier to obtain, don't have xbows (won't be of much use in sieges and are less flexible in open field, when e.g. you get to fight alongside allies and want to help but don't want to endanger your soldiers) and don't have leadership bonus. But yes, as predicted, demon priests perform better: 0:23, 0:21, 0:12, 0:16.
Zealots were never supposed to be the best and the greatest. As I said before and as tests demonstrated, they perform on par with troops of the same/similar upkeep. Better than slightly cheaper troops, worse than a bit more expensive troops, as it should be.
Last time I checked we were talking about Zealots, who are heavy cavalry (with bonuses), not infantry or horse archers.Oldtimer said:- Maiden Ranger
- Gladiator Champ
I don't understand that sentence.Oldtimer said:Re leadership bonus the snag is it only applies with living troops present.

You can't compare different troop types, they're rock-paper-scissors with different situational uses and different upkeep modifiers. E.g. cavalry beats archers, archers beat shock infantry, shock infantry beats cavalry.
Horse archers with their new AI are probably the only universal troop type, but for that very reason they also cost 20% more than heavy cavalry (all other things held constant). Zealots' upkeep wouldn't be 83 if they had usable_on_horseback xbows, it would be ~100. So think again if the mere usability of their xbows from horseback would be worth the upkeep increase.

Leadership bonus from specialist soldiers is practically infinite morale. I remember players talking about abusing it so effectively they stopped feeding their troops and even then they were happy and didn't desert.
They are not, with or without AI - they can't do much about elite foot archers with fast projectile speed and good armor on top of that. Just give damn cretasan archers proper helmets, put them on a small hill and send bunch of Falcon high-top tier HAs, loses on HAs side would be tragic.Horse archers with their new AI are probably the only universal troop type

You relation with demons has to be less than or equal to -90 and you need 100k aurums for donations.
1. I wanted to start my kingdom by getting Linthradil to leave Elintor with me, but even with 100 relation, max possible right to rule (as far as I can tell), as well as high renown and honor, she was saying no. I decided to save to a separate file so I could experiment with letting her be the ruler. After I did so I was her vassal and marshal, but when I spoke to her I had the option to ask to be her vassal. I did this again to experiment, and after she gave me the normal vassal speech she said something about me now being her vassal as well as her husband. To my surprise, after this it gave me a notification that my faction does not exist, and when I clicked past that everything was the same but I was now the ruler of the Kingdom of Perisno. I assume this chain of events is unintentional, and wanted to ask if anybody knows the repercussions of starting the kingdom this way. So far the only difference I've seen is that when I take new vassals, the first time I talk to them they congratulate me on joining Linthradil as a vassal even though I'm the king. The other thing is I can't find the option to rename my kingdom in the camp menu. I understand this may be a unique issue, but figured I'd ask and at the very least alert the devs to a potential bug.
2. I'm sure this has been asked to death so I apologize in advance, but I couldn't find it in the last few pages of the Q+A or in any of the recent and pinned topics on the forum so I'll ask anyway. Is there a plan to make this mod for bannerlord. I'll take this chance to praise the mod and say I hope it is. I've played most of the popular mods for this game but perisno is my favorite. The unique lore, polish, fantasy setting, and awesome original game mechanics just tick all the boxes for me.
3. Is Michadr still working on this mod? Like others I play warband in spurts and I think this is the first time I've come back to the game, this mod, and this forum without seeing a sign of him.
4. Is the apprentice developer program still in place? I've only taken two fairly entry level coding classes (no longer taking any because I decided to be a political science major instead of computer science) so I'm definitely a beginner, but I performed well and learned fast in both of them. I wouldn't be able to do anything for the next month or so but if the program still exists I'd love to try. I've always wanted to help make a warband mod and I could also potentially try out to help with the lore and writing if it's needed. Only aspect I really would be useless is in anything relating to art because I have no sense for that stuff.
Sorry for the long questions, thanks again for the amazing mod!
