Perisno formations not working

So I know F4 is the command that pulls up the formation menu, but when I press it nothing happens. No message in the feed, no menu flickers, nothing at all, as if the F4 command doesn't even bind to anything, but I haven't messed with the controls either.

I have the latest version too of 1.3.5.1 if that matters.

Any suggestions? I hate having a blob consisting of archers and cavalry or rushing to form ranks manually before I get bum rushed by enemy cavalry lol

You have to hold Alt before you press F4

... where did I heard that before? Oh, right. The classic Alt + F4 joke.

Note: it's the command to shut down a game. I would not recommend trying.
