Killing riderless horses

Horses and men clustering in a single spot is something that happens frequently when there is a lot of cavalry on the field. Sometimes it becomes anoying when we try to kill an enemy that is completely surrounded by horses. So we should be able to kill them all with handweapons and be done with it. Another option is to make the horses flee from that area by themselfs.

Have the riderless horses shy away from the areas with fighting. Or have an option during configuration that allows only a certain number of riderless horses (like the ragdoll limit).

You could just carry a ranged eapon like a crosbow or bow around with yu and kill the horses with that. Thats what I do.
