Ice Hockey and Lacrosse thread

Let's get this thread up there with the other sports threads.
World cup of hockey is about to begin.
Yesterday the first pre-tournament practise games were played.
Finland 3- Sweden 2 (ot).

Can't ****ing watch Finland's first game because it starts at 3 AM and the replay at 7 AM.

People are saying that USA has more or less lost their chance at the cup after losing to Team Europe with 3-0. Anyone care to explain?

Team North America won over Finland with 4-1.

Because Team Europe is just a bunch of Germans and Slovaks with an odd Austrian, Dane, Norwegian or Frenchman.

Not completely unlike the Third Reich.

Found out why they're saying this, apparently the American team is facing Canada in their next match and hold little chance at beating them.
