The Scandinavian names are era-correct. You might want to check the Scandinavian faction thread in the forum, where the reaserch has been done quite a long time ago if you have any doubt.

Have you tried caravan escort quests to distant towns? Those gives lots of money and exp. Actualy if you would join a faction(either as a mercenery or a lrod), you would have enough money for an armie... Unless you have a very high tier units, then you should raid to keep them paid.

Like.. Norwegian elite Archer, or Norwegian Regular pike man etc would suffice.

Sorry, but I can almost promise you that you will not see something like that in the mod.

I wasn't doubting the era correctness just to make that clear, just that I didn't understand them.
And I don't know how to pronounce the names of many of the units.

I've done some caravan escorts to distant lands yep, and though it pays ok, it's not that much for the army i quickly collect.

How about if you could buy faction specific armors and horses after you have enough reputation with that faction? Something like after you have earned your knighthood.
There could be master smith in every faction and they would make those best armors when asked. With this way you could always buy armors you like and you wouldn't have to search whole kingdom for something specific. This would be more historical accurate also because I doubt that lords bought their armors from some random merchants.
Normal "lesser" armors would still be bought from merchant.

if they done that, u wont find any masterwork armour or weapon in that case

Well are those masterworks really so important? At least their costs are f*cked up because of engine  Especially if they broke (if thats possible anymore) lots of gold wasted there.

And if you really think they are so important maybe they could be scripted to work with relations whit the smith. You start the game with hardened gambeson so at least they can be scripted some how

Edit: there is also another gameplay reason: now everything costs very much so that player can't buy best equipment in first few days. I have nothing against it but it's just wrong that I can easily have 40 peasants but not money to buy single helmet which almost everyone in that rabble is wearing  With my way prices could be reduced slightly because player couldn't wear the best anyway at the start.

pretty much for me, I always saving up some denaari for weaponary, i rarely have plates except some chainmail with a nation tabard

robbing caravan and ransoming nobles and high tier unit give pretty much of denaari

and I prefer this ridiclious price style, unless u re type money cheater people

a) money is not that hard to make (plunder villages, capture lords, do city quests)
b) prevent all top tier troop armies , when you can steamroll the AI without effort things get pretty fast

Then you should read it more carefully.

a) I didn't mention weapons anywhere in my posts.
b) I didn't complain about the current price system. I complained about unrealistic (as this mod tries to be realistic as it can) equipment of peasants compared to prices.
c) I didn't ask how to make money
d) i didn't complain troop tree which will prevent player from steamrolling.

Yet you brought all those things up even they aren't relevant.

And you still complained about these masterwork done equipments although I stated very clearly that it should be possible to scrip them because first armor is also been scripted to bee hardened.

With fast search there is no such item as hardened gambeson. More of that you can find exactly same looking armors from merchant which are normal and have those 2 points less armor.

When a faction takes a castle/town is it possible to have that factions troops then recruitable from that castle/town and via extension village/s?? Just seems wierd riding into mamluk villages and recruiting equites is all
And is it possible to give cattle a greater use? For instance stealing herds then giving them to village elders/guild masters in order to raise your standings with that village/town and even lords?

wait
for armour upgrade its
thick, then lordly
theres no hardened, go back to native version

So you are thinking I'm cheater and don't know anything about modding and tell to me that I should go back to play native and then somebody else prove that you had all the time been wrong and then you just thank him?

Excuse me but I think you own apology

ah yeah, forgive me matey
i mean i remember for lvl upgrade is go back from native, I do not remember theres a hardened  armour (never pay attention to leather armours)

still i tought u protesting the price system

No problem

And no I wasn't. I was just suggesting something alternative, something different from other mods (isn't that the reason to play mods?) But let the modders decide.

Hi

I like your mod very much. It is probably the best - looking mod out there, and I also like the system making knights and elite troops very expensive so that the player is forced to field an army that consists mostly of low-tier troops and peasants. there are some issues I recognized though (I´m playing the subversion I downloaded 5 days ago)

Tournaments: It seems that a tournament can be fought over and over again; the first time it is possible to win a huge amount of money, the other times just about 8000 or so (which is still a lot of money in 1257). So it is possible to win way too much money in tournaments.

Helmets: Even with a crossbow skill of over 200 and a siege crossbow it is not possible to severely injure enemy units that are using a helmet (if the shot hits the head). That might be ok for full helmets knights have, but not for the normal footmens helmets that are not covering up the faces.

Sieges: It would be awesomne to be able to enter the inventar and the party screen just befor a siege.

Map: The map is one of the finest maps I´ve seen so far. But it is, especially in parts of Italy, the Balkan and Holland, a little unpopulated. Also, it is not always possible to see from the world map how the actual battleground will lok like; when I have a big band of knights with me, I would like to plan the battles so that I fight mx enemies in the open rather than in a forest.
As a player who loves to start his own kingdom I would also like to have some smaller factions with maximum five lords that to have a playe to start my empire somewhere. When I visited the pope, he told me that catholizism is still under construction; are there any plans of making him a spiritual leader who also gives out quests rather than just a wordly king?

Are there any plans of implementing the seasons into the game? I would have loved to fight for the teutonic order, but always fighting in the snow is horrible...maybe there could be snow during the winter in most parts of europe, while in summer the snow goes back to the most nothern parts of norway?

I fully support your ideas and especially to have access to the inventory automatically would be nice as I am one of those who always forget to change my inventory manually. So yes, let's get DrTomas to do more scripts for us lazy ones.

Seasons though aren't really possible and not worth the trouble as it is not supported by the engine itself.
