I bet you most of the people who said that just did because Cozur rejected their "Where's muh dragonz?" kinds of suggestions, which is the right thing to do in my opinion. I've experienced similar issue when I was helping a game development team who worked on something based on another famous media. People just went crazy with their little suggestions.

I think it's a really cool addition. It makes the world feel more serious. It does open up a lot of possibilities, but I'm not sure about the Frey and Riverrun thing. I think he would have still supported Robb because he's promised to marry one of his daughters. I mean, Riverland was already messed up by the Westerlands before that anyway.

Oh, speaking of which, as you can see I talked to Renly, and it happened long after I did the Crowned Stag quest (around 30 days after). Isn't he supposed to be gravely wounded and disappear from the game? Well after I did the quest, with half of his lords defecting to Stannis' side, the Stormland was really screwed and the faction ceased to exist. After some time the Stormland returned and Renly reappeared. Is he really supposed to heal back up and live again or is this something that needs to be fixed?

Well, Cozur isn't always the friendliest developer, I'm not gonna lie, so be prepared to get snapped at or something. But I know everybody has tough things going on in life, and building a mod is a big project, so I'm not gonna judge.

Also, +1 for things like Frey changing sides if they are conquered and stuff. It helps make it possible for factions to rise or fall if the player doesn't interfere, which is how it should be I think. After all, in my 1.5 game, the war literally raged for 6 years and everybody still had their land, give or take a castle or two, which was extremely boring.

The biggest problem I have is that I've given the most quarralsome vassals 99% of all villages, castles and even towns ( Reach, Dragonstone, Lorath ). On the other hand, the most honorable vassals barley have a village to their name. Oh deer this is going fun.  :mrgreen: Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, right?

Talking to your Chancellor you can choose to give gifts to any lord. Giving Ale is the most reliable way to steadily recieve positive relations with a lord and does not depend on any other factor.

Hello everyone.
I'm having a certain problem with my companions banner. I'm currently playing ACOK (a clash of kings) 2.0 and i created my own kingdom, i gave a fief to my companions but some of my companions  banners not showing up on their heraldic armors during the battle(just a blank light brown banner) but in strategic map it shows up the banner. Few of my companions banners appears in the battle. I think there's some problem with companions script? I also replaced blank banners in texture folder and it's still not showing up. Help me to solve this problem guys.

why have you removed so many quests and quest rewards? Beats me...

Daenerys questline doesn't reward Kingsguard armor (making it impossible to aquire except through cheatmenu)
The removal of blackfyre subbed by another 1h sword and then the removal of the quest entirely.
The removal of legbiter's quest
The removal of Daenerys herself from the Meereen scene.

Weird stuff haha

Anyway, it would be best to have long swords behave as long swords by having the 2h/1h feature on them...
I would also find it awesome to have some decent armor reward through questing, as well as maybe a quest to get a powerful horse.
In that excuse for a mod World of Ice and Fire he managed to add more GoT items than you, as well as adding obysidian weapons. Those would be great to have in ACOK as well, maybe some more wight quests or events...

Idk... Another possibility that AWIF brings to the table is making both wildlings and night's watch full factions, using the same protective system u've used to avoid war between realms on them, and making their quarrel exclusively between them, allowing for Stannis to declare war upon wildlings as well. I also find it quite disturbing that we get less fiefs than we should on the map, what I mean is that quest-related villages and castles should be featured as conquerable as well, the world map seems quite naked when you think of it, it's 99% worthless wastelands, also the advantage given to westernlands by having a heavy conglomerate of towns against single towned realms' also quite strange, I get it that they should be richier, but why not make, for instance, Winterfell a less productive town instead of making it a castle with zero advantages to whomever holds it? Beats me...

Anyway, just giving some feedback, the mod, all-in-all is good, but it could and should be better, in fact as I see it the removal of content over updates makes it regress instead of progressing, I am really clueless as to why one would remove so much content =/

The Targaryan armor from the quest's also quite worthless, wouldn't it be nicer to have it as a low-tier plate instead (on values)? It also misses gauntlets, which saddens me given there are absolutely no matching gauntlets to go with it, any gloves u put on makes it look weird (same goes for kingsguard, golden cloaks, lannister armors, and so on...)
 
Anyone else having kings get captured and no one knows where they are?

I've been looking for Rob Stark and King Greyjoy for over an hour or so with no dice when I'm home playing. They are not in a castle of their enemy and are not being ridden around either that I can tell.
 
So. Have just got a new laptop but I have downloaded it twice but both times the mod has had missing items do you have to unpack it with winrar and not 7zip or is it something else

I agree with everything this guy said. Especially the nights watch being a full faction with control of the "gift"
 
Am  I supposed to be able to kill people with the wildfire pots? I throw them and it does like 20 dmg to one guy and like 5-6 to a few others, then nada.

Anyone else experience this? Was saving it for a siege but.. not doing much at all.

It used to do large AoE damage that can kill a dozen of knights at once, but I don't know why it got nerfed like that. I haven't found its function as well.

I agree that the removal of King's Guard armor is disappointing. At least give us better rewards than three regular swords because that quest takes a lot of time.

And can someone tell me what happens if you switch castles with another lord? Will my old garrison be moved to the new castle automatically or will it be the new lord's?

Finally somebody mentions it. Erasing essential game content, for new props. Wuhuu. I´ve always felt, that criticising a freelancer developer, who offers his stuff for free to the public, is like running against a brick wall (especially since its Cozur), so I´ve never bothered. But what you mentioned is spot on. Been trying to fix this by porting nearly all unique AWOIAF armors into my ACOK mod, but its not the same. Keep this message running guys. Nobody should forget in this wall of posts.

And why has the possibly most popular mod in Warband history, still has no own sub forum on the Caravanserai (after 4 years)? Still buggers me. Maybe it has been answered already, so I apologize if that is the case.
 
Are there any plans to implement a way so the player can ask quest givers (Guild Masters, Lords, Village Elders ect.) what you can do for them from a list? Instead of just a randomly given quest, you would have multiple choices of what you could so for them? So you could choose either to escort a caravan or hunt down bandits.

I remember Floris was going to implement something similar but the mod died before it got put into the latest version. I believe its also apart of the TweakMB sub mod but I do not believe it's compatible with ACOK. If it is please tell me please! lol

Anyways, It has always irritated me that the generic quests are randomized in a way that you can only choose to do one at a time. And have no choice in which one it is.

Are the bandit camps available in this mod ?
I received a quest from Tywin Lannister "Destroy Bandit Lair" but I didn't find any, even while using the "view the whole map" cheat  :???:

Luckily I didn't say it was essential, have you read my suggestion/feedback? More than enough for me...

As for items I could, but I don't know if I will, back-pedal a few years and start messing with 3d again (Former Game Dev. Student here, left for Film-making, much more interesting imo haha). Re-learn blender and model stuff for a mod like this would be, let's say, epic.

Another important note is that I am considering making a sub-mod over ACOK to "fix" some of the stuff I find lacking, and release it, as long as you give me permission, other-wise I'll simply make the sub-mod for personal use. With a bit of dedication, honestly, I could fill up a spot and aid you on developing this mod further in many many ways, but I've always had serious issues with getting back into messing around with coding and 3d modeling, lack of patience I would say, but maybe this time around, since I'm between jobs, I might be able to do it until I get hired again, up from that point I can't promise to stick with it, but until than I honestly can.

Same thing happened to me. Accepted one of those quests, spent a whole month trying to track them to their camp. I eventually failed the quest, but it is deffinately broken.
