Oldest grand mod anyway... there have been a couple minor mods that covered the stone-age.  I considered making this mod, cover the Upper vs Lower Egyptian period (even older still)... however, many of the fan-favorite classic Egyptian pieces had not yet been fully invented yet... so this is about as late in the Bronze as can be with more fun items.  Also there is a newly discovered interesting history bit about the late/post 18th Dynasty era that I am using to convert the generic vanilla questing into a more involved purposeful quest system.

Yes, there will be naval battles, sailing up and down the Nile will be important (and of less importance the coast). Boarding action will be where it is at (I already have it in actually, still refining it).

At this stage in the development their is a religious aspect to the game, especially in the questing, and and city interaction.  In fact, an interesting spin on religious history is a key part of the game... and with out giving it all away... is one reason why I chose the late/post 18th Dynasty...

I own a Senet game, and already heavily considered this as something I would like to see in this mod... BUT, unlike other overly ambitious mods, I want this one to actually get released.  My hopes are to see revolutionary scripting features like this, ship building, and multiple political marriages (to name a few), make it to subsequent releases.
