I think some people will be disappointed with the pre-defined classes, but it will definitely make for a more balanced experience.

On paper it sounds like a good improvement over Warband's system: it kills that dreadful snowballing effect and from what I gather it makes it easy to quickly recognize what you're fighting against, which seems great for competitive matches in particular. It would be great to know if there are any plans about cosmetic customization, as that's something which I would love to see in the game and could be quite fitting in the multiplayer scene.
In the first screenshot there's a "Customize Character" button at the bottom. I'm guessing that's what it's for.
I think that would explain the purpose of the armory tab in the multiplayer menu, although it could also just be for customizing our character's face, body and banner.
