Awesome!

Read it, it's basically all we know from last year's Captain Mode videos summed up in text. Good thing they appeal balance of all forces, I guess.

This blog post didn't suit me much since I am more of a story player.  :ohdear:

On the old video of the characters there was a belt from the shield. Have you abandoned this detail?

thanks TW for adding the squad Druzhina!

Delicious screenshots.

This is a hot take, but I really like the new class/perk/currency system. I think this is a much better system than Warband's. Especially for matchmaking and competitive matches.
I am hoping for a Warband-like system to be added after release though.

On paper it sounds like a good improvement over Warband's system: it kills that dreadful snowballing effect and from what I gather it makes it easy to quickly recognize what you're fighting against, which seems great for competitive matches in particular. Hopefully the amount of classes and perks in the game will easily replace the equipment variety found in Warband, so that players will still be able to somewhat customize their gear while keeping a good range of choice. Can't wait to try it out!

It would be great to know if there are any plans about cosmetic customization, as that's something which I would love to see in the game and could be quite fitting in the multiplayer scene.

In the first screenshot there's a "Customize Character" button at the bottom. I'm guessing that's what it's for.

You're right, I didn't see it at first. Would love to have more information about it. Perhaps that's a future blog idea.

I think some people will be disappointed with the pre-defined classes, but it will definitely make for a more balanced experience.

I think that would explain the purpose of the armory tab in the multiplayer menu, although it could also just be for customizing our character's face, body and banner.

That's good to know, it would be interesting to see if they tie the cosmetics into a simple progression system.

Werent Ulfhednar a Battanian unit ? Dont answer a rhetorical question. I know they were.
I wonder why they are passed over to Sturgia.
Ulfhednar were Germanic warriors, maybe they are the common units of Sturgia and Battania ?
