After 20 minutes of playing, during the first quest in the tutorial, when attacking the bandits camp with my brother and the headvillage troops, I failed while fighting the enemy chief in a duel.
So I was knocked down and the quest told me to try again the camp assault. Instead of that I talked to my brother in the party report, and the dialog that popped out was him telling me about a chest he found after sacking the camp and blah blah.
So the game was behaving in this dialog like if I would have been successful in the camp assault, when I actually wasn't.
Appearently i have a brother too in the game. I didn't spawn with him i think? did i have to recruit him to my army?

this is not a bug you are not supposed to have a shield in your town outfit please look for serious stuff

Exactly the same issue as you.

Really wanted to play .

Edit: Found the fix! Windows controlled folder access access was blocking bannerlord making any changes. Making an exception or disabling it fixes the issue. Huazzah!

Oh? How did you do that? :???:
Can you please explain with an easy to understand guide for noobs like me?

I'm not sure if it's a stability issue or an issue with the fact I manually saved in a city (I can't remember which one, unfortunately) but my game crashes whenever I try and load my campaigns manual or autosave. The crash reporter doesn't even work properly after either

There is a really odd thing that can happen when you lose sight of a caravan during an escort mission.

After some more testing, it seems like the game does the following:
1. When the player loses sight of the caravan, he gets a message to find them again or else they will be in danger
2. About a day after this there seems to be a garanteed encounter in which the caravan gets attacked, the player is again notified of this

Now either one of two things happens:
- the caravan is wiped out and the player loses relations with the caravan owner
- the caravan is not wiped out and wanders around endlessly, but doesn't get attacked anymore. This must be unintentional as a first attack is always garanteed to happen about a day after the initial warning. But if the caravan survives, the player is never notified again and in months of waiting they never get wiped. If they do get in a fight, the player isn't notified of this unlike the first time (which I doubt, it seems like the quest scripting assumes the caravan dies without the players assistance, if this doesn't happen the Quest runs infinitely until the player can find the caravan again)

I let the game run in the background for a while and they just don't seem to ever die, despite dying very, very often in the first attack, on the first day of the quest. This a really annoying and odd outcome for the quest, since it completely locks you out of accepting other caravan quests until you find this specific caravan again and escort it, which can be practically impossible on the world map. I am very sure this is a bug and if it isn't, its bad quest design.

I encountered a pretty big AI bug here earlier today.

Basically I was in Rhagaea's army and we were gonna defend a city from being sieged. Now the attacker AI didn't do anything as in sieging wise, they just ran towards the gates and basically kept running in place and bunched up together and looked very goofy. They didn't attack the gates, they had no sieging equipment with them so they could only run towards the gates. Now i don't know if the sieging equipment was supposed to be there but didn't spawn in. Or if they engaged us without any sieging equipment. But either how the AI was completely broken and brain dead so to say.

The same went for my AI too. They didn't do much just kept walking towards the gates. All the defending AI were also brain dead and did nothing. Archers who went up to the ramparts just kept walking into the wall without trying to shoot at the attackers. It was simply purely broken. I had to manually resolve this by opening the gates and letting both sides engage each other.

So 136 days in here and have just taken up a quest to attack poachers, whenever I leave the city i travel for 5 seconds in any direction and the game crashes. Will probs have to restart but hope someone has had similar instance and knows how to fix.

Some of the commands don't work, none of them work for formation, advance doesn't work and a few others don't, the only ones that do from what I know are follow me and go to position.

Bug Description:
Changing formation number of heroes (by default 1 infantry) to any other doesn't save after you reload the game
How To Reproduce The Bug:
Grab a hero, change the formation from default 1, to 3. Save and load the same save, the formation of the hero will be back to 1.
Reminds me of IMperator rome from paradox interactive that grouping armies together with ctr +# doesn't stay after you reload the save.

Hello, here are some bugs I encountered in my first 10 hours in the game (Early access version released yesterday) :

- Bug Description: When I want to talk to someone in Pen Cannoc or just walk around the town center, I get stuck in the loading screen. I can't do/finish quests there. (It may have happen in another city but I can't remember well) Entering the keep works though.
- How To Reproduce The Bug: Enter Pen Cannoc or talk to someone in it
- How Often The Bug Occurs: Everytime

- Bug Description: It doesn't happen everytime, but happened to me twice. When you can't convince the man to pay the blood money you have to fight him. Well, sometimes, juste before you deal him the last blow, the man talks to you saying : "It's been a while..." and then it's impossible to finish the quest as he keep repeating this when you go talk to him.
- How To Reproduce The Bug : Well... Do the Quest.
- How Often The Bug Occurs : One time out of three for me.
- Quest Name: Family Feud

- Smaller bugs/problems of optimization:
- I've noticed small freezes when two armies engage each other (in battle), I assume that it's not related to my PC because the rest of the game is totally smooth and it literally stops after the first blows are given.
- Some texture bugs in town centers.
- Villages flying over the ground.
- Parties walking in the sea.

I guess that's all, sorry for english mistakes, not my native language.
Hope you fix this all the faster you can, I've enjoyed all that's not bugged in the game !
NB: Sorry if these bugs have already been reported.
