Posted about this back in beta but the game still really needs a way for the player to be able to manually control the weapon choice of the AI under their command. Currently troops will automatically use 1h or 2h weapons on foot if there are no cavalry around. It would be much better if the player could control this behavior than having it automatically take place. Right now vlandian pikemen and sturgian troops will use their swords on foot and there is no way to make them use their pikes/spears.
In warband the player could command their troops to use blunt weapons but in bannerlord the only weapon choice that's available is the hold fire toggle. I suggest that additional weapon choice toggles are added under a F4 command menu.
