About movement speeds in combat, it s too fast

I don't know the exact reason. But it's probably a matter of speed.
The moving speed of the character is very fast.
So they can run away easily, and they can attack by opening up the distance easily.
So the fun of blocking and hitting like Warband has been reduced.

Players often hit each other on the back.
The reason is movements speed is so fast .

What do other players think about this? It is very easy to confirm that movement speeds is too fast during multi-play.
They don't hit each other in the front, they hit each other on the back.

Does anyone have a good idea about this?

and what do you think about this, developers?
 
I agree in that the swing speed is much slower now, so you can't get a hit out in time to retaliate against someone without them often running out of range, resulting in a lot of weird spinning and swerving [which seems to be exactly the kind of gameplay Taleworlds was trying to prevent]
 
I agree, movement speed while fighting is too fast, everyone is just running around swinging their weapons, there is no strategy, not blocking, I wish the movement speed were reduced only when you are in combat stance
