I am sure this has been said a thousand times but just to add my suggestion.
I think once you become a ruler, you should be able to create or alter troops within your culture. I think this would add more to the end game. And even solve issues that you feel your culture lacks.
I dont see why it...
Summary: I defeated Sturgia's ruler Grand Prince Raganvad in battle, but since he invited me to his kingdom like 2 years ago in-game, the dialogue only related to that, and I could not capture him. I am with the Southern Empire and we are at war with Sturgia so I should be able to capture him...
In many playthroughs of mine, I'll end up starting a new kingdom off of the same kingdom I was a vassal too. Recently I renounced my oath and kept my fiefs, quite fun stuff. The issue is that there isn't a particularly good way to resolve the civil war because it's incredible tedious (and...
I started a second 1.7 game and joined Ragy for a change. It was early game and she was already paying tribute to 4 factions!
She does all the bad leader stuff, makes peace while I'm sieging, makes double war and gets gang banged, gives me a castle in the middle of enemy land.
By contrast...
I talked about wanting to be ruler in the tread Should I assassinate My Liege? in the end I didn't have to do anything like that because the old ruler soon died of old age. the pop-up appeared to decide the next ruler and... they don't want me; not even one voted for me. instead, they...
Type of quest: big and rather linear quest for the early game
Why to implement: after completion you get to choose a symbol for your clan banner. Currently there is no story behind the player's banner.
Quest requirement: After starting a new campaign, the player does not have a clan banner. The...
Rulers in 1.4.1 and e1.4.2 take a very high number of fiefs. The easiest way to reproduce is to simply let a game play out and watch the number of ruler-held fiefs increase continuously.
One user ran through the applicable code and identified the almost-certain cause:
Another user tested it...
Hi.
Since updating to 1.4.1 i've been unable to overrule my Lords during decisions, like owner of a settlement or making peace despite the fact i'm the ruler of the kingdom. Any time there's a vote for anything i'm given the options to use the 3 different amounts of influence to sway the vote...
Summary: Policy and war votes are treating the PC like a voting lord instead of ruler, meaning you cannot overrule the vote by your vassals. This causes wars being started and stopped at very inopportune times and policies being instated and disavowed at your vassals whims. The war portion makes...
Summary: Perk "Ruler" in Steward branch doesn't change companion maximum as it is supposed to do. I own 5 towns for now.
How to Reproduce: Reach level 250 in Steward skill, choose perk "Ruler". Confirm the companion maximum stays the same.

In my current Vlandia campaign King Derthert is taking control of every fief we conquer, he is currently on 14 fiefs and about 10k influence since all the notables in all of his fiefs give him a ton of influence. He is still friends with his Barons which seems to suggest he does not take a...
Rhagaea just implemented Royal Privilege despite 100% opposition. I then disavowed the policy and spent 100 influence to make sure it didn't pass, and she refused again. None of the lords care, though, and they will all continue to serve her in wars and pay taxes etc
When this happens, there...
Derthert is stealing every fief captured, currently sitting at 4 towns and 6 castles. Attempting to use influence is a bust since he just overrules any majority vote. As far as I can tell, he is facing no negative repercussions for this. Is this commonplace in your playthroughs as well?
