The great dark
in The beginning there was nothing but darkness, but in time tiny molecules of light appeared. No one knows why or how, it just happened.
Millions of years passed and the light grew bigger and bigger until eventually there was room for only one. Darkness and Light collided causing a huge explosion that would shake creation itself.

The First Titan
The first living thing that awoke after the explosion was Atrim. He was the first titan. Eons passed and he grew lonelier and lonelier until one day, everything changed.
Atrim Came across a world, tiny in comparison to him but it was the first he had ever seen. This world would later be known as Archmond. He studied the world for millions of years hoping to find a reason for his existence. To his surprise he discovered that the world was a sleeping titan.

The Light
Upon this discovery the first titan began to study the universe around him, he discovered pockets of light that remained from the explosion that took place in what was known as The Great Dark. He learned to use the light and master it, with it he awoke the titan Archmond the world Split in two unleashing an immense amount of light which fractured the fabric of the universe, creating a portal to a distant past... The great Dark.
Now known as The Void.
Upon learning the consequences of awakening a titan before they were ready, Atrim vowed never to do it again. He taught Archmond everything he knew about this strange universe, And they both set out to discover more of their kind.

The void
Unknown to the titans the portal that was created from the awakening of Archmond became a gateway for darkness(now known as shadow). The darkness entered and spread across the universe attaching themselves to worlds and feeding off of the light contained inside them by sleeping titans. This would corrupt their souls and turn them into Shadow Titans.
Archmond's Return
Eons after his birth the titan Archmond traveled back to the place were he awoke in hopes of learning more about themselves. What he found would strike fear into his heart.
Darkness engulfed everything. The tear in the universe (portal to the void) had grown and darkness kept coming through it. The Pocket of light that Atrim used to awaken the titan was now corrupted. On His way back to the titan Atrim, Archmond found many world corrupted by the darkness.

Founding of the Guardians
Upon hearing Archmond, Atrim decided that they must cleanse the universe and the mess they left behind. They awoke 3 Mature worlds which gave birth to Akathur, Sargrimar, and Thorimar. They vowed to fight the darkness side by side. They ventured back to the portal and discovered that the corrupted worlds Archmond had seen on his journey back had awoken.
They were nothing like the Light forged titans, these were beast created by pain and agony. At the sight of this Sargrimar Leaped forward and began to fight these shadow titans. One by one they were struck down, but it was clear that if not stopped the darkness would engulf all of creation. Wounded Sargrimar vowed to destroy the darkness, the other titans joined him on his oath and Named themselves The Guardians.

The Guardians Decided that in order to protect sleeping titans from the darkness they must create light forged creatures and leave them guarding the worlds while the Guardians set out to discover more of their kind and prevent them from being corrupted by the darkness.Their planned worked the light forged Warriors fought valiantly against the darkness. Some worlds were lost but it was a start for the guardians. The light forged creatures would communicate with their creators through shrines, that sent light across the cosmos. This way the Guardians knew which worlds fell to the darkness.
On their Travels the Guardians discovered a world, so young but full of light. This titan would be more powerful than all the guardians Combined. They sent their creations to the world of Margus in hopes of protecting it from the darkness.

He grew inpatient and unpleased by the tactics the guardians used to fight the darkness. One day Thorimar called a meeting to discuss Sargrimars thoughts, Upon disagreeing in a show of rage Sargrimar took his sword and leaped at Thorimar Slicing him in half, The rest of the guardians attempted to stop him but Sargrimar, and the battle went on for Eons. Finally Sargrimar defeated the last of the Guardians. Cataclysmic explosions went off after each strike leaving sargrimar Broken and eventually he also succumbed to his wounds.

Mortals of Margus

Years went by and unknown to them their light was fading since they no longer had a connection to their creators(The Guardians). Thousands of years went by and the light got smaller and smaller. Their thick armored skin became soft and vulnerable. Their wings lost all their feathers eventually falling off completely and sickness fell upon them. They soon discovered they were now Mortals.
They tried to reach out to the guardians but never received a response. thousands of years went by, they thought their creators had abandoned them.
but They stood united and managed to adjust to their mortality but not without losing great numbers they soon lost their knowledge to time.One day a boy named Peasant was walking through the forest near his village. There He discovered an ancient shrine which seemed to be powered by some sort of magic!
This was the first time in a million years that the mortals on margus stumbled upon this strange thing. Out of no where a bolt of light shot out of the shrine destroying it and killing the boy.
He would be reborn... Light forged. The mortals of Margus called him a mage. Unknown to him and to them the boy had the powers of creation flowing through him. A small fragment of it anyway. He used his powers to unite the clans and fight off invaders... He was The First BattleMage.
On his deathbed he channeled his power into the body of another boy named Artamir. This would become a tradition, and would ensure that the last drop of power left on Margus would be passed down generations.
