What are you playing right now?

I played some Endless Space the past days.

That game puts you into another dimension where time outside runs 5x faster, and everything take ages to do, so make the calculations of how much time it vacuums from your life.

Uninstalling it now. It takes too much time to play it and it's not worth the time in fun.

Tried to start on Wing commander. Too dated for me with it's tiny view port and graphics that made it hard to read what's going on.

I 'm currently playing Assassin's Creed 3. At first, it looked bad to me. But I gave it some time and I think it's really good. Apart from the graphics, it features fast paced combat(all the games of the saga have it ) nice collectables, hunting and mythbasting(I found the "sasquatch" and the Headless Horseman ) and what else? Aw, yeah...FRIGGING NAVAL BATTLES!

The example lines are from the named XML files in the "XML" folder in "Star Wars
Empire at War" The default address on the hard drive is:

C:\Program Files\Lucasarts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\Data\XML

**Factions.xml**
<Space_Tactical_Unit_Cap>25</Space_Tactical_Unit_Cap>
-Determines the maximum unit cap for the faction, too many will
eventually kill the framerate and crash the game during major battles,
        50 or 75 is a good number.

This worked for me, if I recall correctly.

Arcadius: Cheers!

Bob: Oh I fully intend to do Republic Commando again too. Battlefront 2 however refuses to load any battles on my PC. CTDs every ****ing time no matter what I do. No idea why. But sometging in there is too new for the poor old game.

could run BF 2 on Win 7, well that is a ****ing shame
Rogue Squadron 3D will not work on Win 7, however, this lead to many a manly tear.

I tried playing Painkiller Hell and Damnation but fov locked at 50 and head bobbing gave me a stroke.

I don't get the whole head bobbing thing anyway, my head doesn't fly around when I run, it's not attached to my body with a ****ing spring.
And what's with the ****ty fov in almost all fps games anyway?

I'm playing Dark Messiah and Star Wolves 3 right now. DM is pretty fun, but I do have to wonder who on earth thought that escort missions were in any way fun. I do applaud them for making Source engine platforming fun though. Also, while I haven't beaten the game yet and could be surprised by a sudden plot twist, this game seems to have the most obvious villain ever. I like how they don't continue to insult my intelligence about an hour in, but that does beg the question of why they ever pretended in the first place.

Star Wolves 3 is also a ton of fun, though the "kill the player for getting off the rails" thing gets old. It's also way too easy to get good gear, which takes a lot of the challenge out of it and makes a lot of the dialog seem silly. If it weren't for the "kill the player" cutscenes, I could plow through any challenge I've faced so far with ease. Once you've got three pilots in Dragons with 4 Rage lasers each nothing can stand in your way. I'm also a little befuddled by the currency system in this game. 100k seems like a lot (you can buy a new mothership for 350k), yet multiple times it will throw 3+ million at you for a simple task. I never know if I should be hording or splurging.

Yeah, it's a bit of a mess. But still loads of fun.
And I thought the game stops killing you a bit after getting the first proper mothership.
Though, I'd still very much appreciate SW4 being completely free. An on demand fast travel system wouldn't be bad either.

Torchlight 2 again. Elite difficulty, Hardcore mode. I'm getting quite annoyed with the number of enemies that spam bull**** long-range homing attacks at you from off the screen.

Yeah, but that takes a while and there's never any real warning that it's just going to kill you. I wouldn't mind so much if it weren't for the gap between autosaves. At least I'm in the habit of quicksaving every warp gate now.
