I suggest making the plate armors rare(among nobles and elite troops) and making the chain armor the best armor availiable. I have a couple drawings from my book that I wish I could upload(drawings of Conan fighting 20 men in the Phoenix on the Sword).Einskaldir said:@Spongly,
Yeah, that's my thought too!
I'm thinking in fill the taverns (Calradia ones are sad taverns, empty the most of the time) with some npc besides companions and troops. Say strumpets (there are plenty of them in the comics), tavern keepers being able to give you quests (if I can get help here, some would be 'dungeon type', like The Tower of the Elephant), drunks, brawler townguards, maybe pedlars and (but don't know if it is even possible) some kind of bet game (rolling dices/bones/whatever), bards playing some instrument, storytellers (quest hook), normal peasants (can spread rumours)... Uh, many thing in my head I think. But hopefully some of these would be a reality.
About the game concept, yeah, 'adventurer' type is the most nearly I can think. The game itself would be a little easy in some ways (boosted initial stats) but most difficult in other ways (weaker armors/armor penalties) to make your life a bit more hard.
Cheers!

Yea, that MMORPG was a disappointment. So much potential yet so much fail. Game had me hyped because I have started reading the Conan stories before it launched. I like some of the stuff in the game like the Cimmerian chainmail armor but the later tier stuff without any protective mail underneath it being more protective than mail armor is annoying. Still, some weapon/armor art in the game is interesting(at least the lower level stuff).hope it goes well for ya bruh, im looking forward to this p.s. theres a Age Of Conan Game that might help you with ideas?
