Going through troop stats.

Mameluke cavalry still are **** at melee, do not use polearms.

The Infantry, is ridiculously strong now, by comparing stuff I can see statistically the Jund al Amir are the best swordsmen(recruitable) in the game :/ .

I really think the Mameluke infantry and archer component was fine, it was their utter lack of respectable melee cavalry that was the problem.

And there is a very serious bug, all Mameluke cavalry have THROWING skill instead of archery

The language and tone of your reply is inappropriate. This is a mod being done for free. You should speak to the modders in the manner of some one doing you a favor... or go to the store and buy a game you like better.
Mameluke have both archery and throwing skill, there is no harm in that, they don't have throwing weapons. Polearms break on the first or second charge, bows last. Mamelukes can be deadly up close and at range. Considering how under powered their infantry seemed why are you complaining about a boost to make them viable against europeans? The only other option would be to increase the percentage of troops that are mamelukes to make up for weeker infantry. Game balance has to be factored in.

I would add however, please make mameluke and knight 1 handed skill the same. Both should be on equal grounds there. If they are thank you.
Do mamelukes fight as horse archers or heavy cav for the AI? They might put their bow skill to better use if the AI saw them as horse archer.

I am sorry for the tone, if it comes across as such, it is not meant to be offensive :s

It was more of a bug report really, archery skill was 10 while throwing was 150, it used to be the other way around, so I reported it.

The reason I am requesting them to be made into the melee cavalry is because the AI is retarded enough to charge straight into a lance charge by opposing cavalry and not even bother to take out even their swords, they do not function properly. That is why I have modded the top two tiers of cavalry to be pure melee cavalry while the Kibar al Amir and the ones below them stay like tomas has them.

Beside those annoying two handed scythe wielding maniacs I never really felt the infantry (apart from the horrendous amount of levy troops on both sides) to be much of a problem.

I found something interesting. You know, update the village and build the castle, the "local village idiot" will emerge; give up the settlement and retake it, the "idiot" can be captured and then convinced. Now you have the 30th NPC in your team, hurry!

mameluke have been again rebalanced in the last revision. I did do some booboo. Anyway, they back to there older stats, but have a higher one handed skill, almost as high as the western knights. Also only there top foot soldiers have higher stats, becouse of there lack of heavy armor like the western soldiers have. Let me know how it goes.

And as far as I understand there's no problem with the AI manor developing/elimination?

Uhh.. lance system is a ball breaker because I will need to define allot of lances for the player. Basically I'm too lazy to start this kind of a step  But it will come.

I'm hoping after the bandits doing the tournament revision I was planing for half of year now.

maybe because of rev 62, but still)

I was getting some interesting dialogue responses the other day. It was when talking with some lords that didn't particularly like me. When choosing the private talk option, they seemed to give me the response that would be given with "what are you and your men doing". i see if i can find out more about when exactly it happens.

I have found a little bug in a scene. I had a battle near Wien at the mountains in this scene:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/259/mbwarband20111205231953.png/ (hope you this help you to find it^^)

At the edges of this battlefield my enemy couldn't escape. They just spawn one step forward and one back and so on.

But after a short time they change direction and fight till their end

So...at the end this is no big problem...would be just cosmetic

Bug report: When you try to sweep manor of Thesallonica, you emerge alone against enemy in normal battlefield scene and even when you manage to win, your party is gone, including NPC's
