Thanks, I hate it.

"Three people complained" tells us more about the system than anything else. Is the UK really a place where less than a handful of delusional individuals can wield a government agency like a weapon to strike down something they dislike because they've projected their own wonky insecurities and politics onto it?

So there are advertisements, the scammy lie-things that are made to steal a lot of your time and attention in the hopes of brainwashing you into thinking that you have to pay money for something that you don't actually want or need. And then there are people, who complain that these public scams have some unimportant detail in them that doesn't represent the magic dreamworlds in their heads well enough.
Yep, humans are clearly an evolutionary dead end.

The British parliament will be suspended for a month with the queen's acceptance. Can someone explain that?
I'm not familiar with such a thing, except in times of war or similar crises. Can any prime minister do that at any time?

Adorno, it's something called 'prorouging' parliament and it's a totally normal thing that happens every year or so. Basically parliament runs in sessions, and this session was meant to last for 2 years, starting in 2017. So, it was fairly close to finishing anyway. To prorogue parliament, the government has to request it from the Queen, but she's always going to say yes as it's more of a formal ceremony. Then once parliament starts a new session, it starts it with a 'Queen's Speech' which is when the queen announces the things government wants to do in the coming session. The reason why it's causing such a big argument is that it's been very strategically timed to lessen the amount of time that opposition MP's have to try and stop a no-deal brexit via parliament. Debates and laws can only be debated and passed during when parliament is open. So now instead of parliament sitting for 2 months(ish) before October 31st (brexit deadline), they will only sit for a few weeks. So their time has been cut by over a half.

They had over 3 years to do that, didn't they.
Maybe they'd have made an actual effort to stop it because they knew the previous PM wasn't going to do anything they didn't like and they're not too sure about the current one.
