Sturgia Spearman is the WORST 4th tier unit in the game. Check in campaign and even on custom battle, they lose to everyone(EVEN ARCHERS WHEN THEY HOLD FIRE AND GET INTO MELEE COMBAT). Its already hard to upgrade units in mount and blade, but upgrading the unit that specialize in infantry only to lose half of it on one battle is pretty frustrating...
The cavalry is also so bad with their short swords and none existing throwing abilities, even their archers makes no sense... Sturgian archers are 4th tier mail to 5th tier light leather armor. The Sturgians are the only one that goes from medium to light armor. EVEN the battanians go from light to medium and they are suppose to be a glass cannon tree.
