SP - General Siege Equipment Destruction

If you are assaulting a settlement and some of your assault equipment is destroyed by enemy defences (ex. your battering ram), you can simply leave the battlefield and assault again directly thereafter and your equipment magically appears even though it was destroyed in the previous assault.

Obviously broken. Assault, assault and assault again no matter how many times you lose the same battering ram.

have them to add resource costs to build them and if they run out of resources , then they can't build any more of those. 2nd option: wait for # of days to rebuild it after destroyed. This will give other AI's or your chance to recover as attacker/defender.

I think the easiest fix would be to simply destroy any siege equipment on the campaign map that was wrecked in an assault
