I unfortunatly for varius reasons, have to stop developing, For Gold, Glory and Greatness 3.

No i dont have the source any more. As soon as i have opportunity i plan on trying again.
 
As odd as this is, comming this soon, but i have managed to fix the problems, that prevented me from making the third installment of for gold, glory and greatness. I will in in fact make begin om modding today. 
But I would like to know, what should the technological level be? I was thinking late 15th early 16th century. 
 
Thank you for your work! I love this mod, and how you implemented Diplomacy and many other tweaks. The new soundtrack is 20x better than Vanilla Warband! I would like a forum signature to show my support!  :grin:

Neither do I, and if you need any help for testing and bug finding, I would gladly help. (I'm sure someone knows how to make a sig.)

Update on For Gold, Glory and Greatness 3

The goal of this mod is to improve the Calradia experince. Having played for over 300 hours, i have had made some experiences, as towards how to improve the gaming experience. The reason for the name is simple, that is what the game is all about.

What i changed

Faction Troops
Faction troops come in two types: Regulars and elites. Regulars come in the following categories: Infantry, spearman, archer, crossbowman, lancer and mounted archer/crossbowman. Regulars start at level 4 and can upgrade 5 times to level 24. As their upgrade their equipment does not improve.
Elite come in the following categories:

Items
Removed some, added other made changes (to stats, prices looks etc). Certian items have been made faction specifik and are sold by factionspecific merchants.

Male nobles
Since the male nobles are the top of society i have given them the best equipment and armed them additionaly with a lance. Exept for the khergit who have bows, and the nords who have throwing axes.

Mounts
Sarranid horses, Rounceys and steppe ponies are the fastes. With sarranids being the fasted and most manuverable, rouceys doing the most damage and ponies being the toughest. Coursers are medium horses and destriers are heavy horses. Armored horses are the slowest horses. Donkeys and mules are best used as pack mounts.

Wactmen & caravan guards
Wactmen and caravan guards are no longer mercenaries. But like mercenaries they start at level 14 and can upgrade three times to level 24. One can encounter all 3 levels.

Other
Added the option of not starting in a town.
Added the option of talking to village elder and guildmaster in the menu. (credit to Geoffrey Ashe)
Gave the turnament lancers,  mounted archers,  javelinmen and archers a sword.

Time period
Originaly i whanted that the technological era should be late 15th early 16th century. But then realised, that the only way for the nords and their buildings to make sense, would be if it took place during the viking period or some time after, where the Scandinavians still looked like vikings. I choose the later. So the new date is 1122.

Adding a new skill: Foraging v0.1 (jrider)
Beer drinking for Warband! (Lumos)
Bodyguards/Escorts in Town/Village Scenes (Caba`drin)
Feast for the men (origanly tavern ale by Geoffrey Ashe)
Filpping coins with tavernkeepers (Albertus Magnus)
Lancers: Use the right weapon! Battle edition (CryptoCactus)
Manhunter: attack them or sell them prisoners (Glabrezu)
Trade Goods Mod v.1.0 (Lav)
Tournament lancers: Use the right weapon (Hatonastick)

Blood enhancement tweak v0.5 (neil_v)
"Ethnic Troops" mini-mod (nemchenk)

Other
A presentation for viewing all items directly (rubik)
Custom Player Party Name (Caba`drin)
New presentations for reports v1.2 (jrider)

That i forgot to add in. For the sarranids, khergits and vaegir its elite lancer and elite mounted archer. For the swadians is elite lancer and elite  mounted crossbowman. For the rhodoks and nords its elite infantryman(wields a twohanded weapon) and either elite  archer or elite crossbowman.
