For Gold, Glory and Greatness 2


Features:
A completely new character creation(choose class, fighting skills & starting gear, troops and star sign).
Changed map.
New factions.
New troops and troop trees.
The merchant quest removed.
Talk to village elder and guildmaster in the menu.
Camels, donkeys and mules as mounts.
New horses.
Many new items.
New banners.
New Sounds
Can hire troops in towns.*
There is now two troops trees pr. Faction.
Player mercenary wages, are now the double, of that of ones companies wager.
Firearms.
Better firearms smoke.
Faction specific items(armour, weapons, horses and shields), are sold by faction specific merchants.
Maces do more damage
Lords have the best equipments in the game.
You can now recruit prisoners every 12 hours.
Increased chance of recruiting prisoners.
New presentations for reports.
Mercenaries have cheaper wages.
New mercenaries.
Decreased building time.
Knifes, daggers and like are faster.
New music.
New sounds.
Batttle continues after the pc falls in battle.
Hire up to 15 troops in villages.
You have acces to your troops inventory.
Some of the outlaws are now different.
Bandits can be upgraded to higher livels.
Mercenarues have cheapter front payment.
Increased tourmant bets.
Made some changes to companions.
The pilgrim disguise and hood now have 40 in armour, and you are armed with a sword and shield.

*In the marketplace menu, you will find the warriors guild, where you can hire  different troops.

Awesome looking mod! I will definitely give this mod a try, and post feedback and bugs if i can.

EDIT: Oh, and before i try this mod, will the fully completed version be savegame compatible to this version?

Looks good by the way, alot of these features intrigue me. I'll pop in with some feedback tomorrow after i've played it through a bit.

Let me just say; i am very impressed with this mod. great elements that we all have enjoyed from other mods and totally i mean totally new stuff! wow!. i was fishing for a new mod to try (didnt really expect anything good, well, surprise surprise! Thanks !!! :grin:
1) love the great new music
2)mod has some very amusing and fun innovation (sea elfs??? alot of fun and trolls )
3overall its like playing a very different story

suggestion or question; any plans on adding bigger amounts of armies and bandits? maybe because ive only been playing it a short time but, its not a huge amount of numbers of em also; i kinda miss bandits ganging up and attacking you  in multiples (when they are close to each other they join in and gang up?
Thanks again for such a cool mod oh and where can i get a signature for this mod?, any ?

many of the mods have a link where you can put the mods link on the profile (like a banner) say like if you follow this http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,157972.0.html    there will be a part where it says signature/banner codes where you can put that in your profile (to show off the mod and it appears whenever i put a comment on a forum just below) its a good way to show off the mod and anyone who wants to put it on theirs .well hope that helps, maybe i didnt explain it too well  :smile:
just to add this to my comment-see the banner i have on my profile (blood and steel) ? thats what i meant. its just a good way to advertise your mod.

love the new changes and you added more bandits! cool... ok have a problem here and think its a 2 part bug; when my main character falls in battle, 1- I cannot get the option to retreat or leave battle using the tab key (it works ok under all other conditions) and 2- I cannot use the order short cuts to issue orders for my men to fight or be able to bring up the order mini-map. this means that if you do fall in battle you get stuck watching the whole thing since you cannot get out or give good orders  :cry: dont know if anyone brought this up but hope you might be able to check it out? thanks :grin:

I am sorry i cant fix that. As it is part of the Diplomacy 3.3.2+ improvements that i added.

First off, great mod. Secondly, the most annoying part about this mod, is the lack of pistols. I mean, there are pistol samurai, they get pistols, but I don't? I would way rather have a pistol than a rifle.

That seems to be an error, there should be 2 wheellock pistols the player can buy. I will look into this and fix it.

It seems that i forgot to make the merchants sells pistols. Download this: http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=2960 and add it to your module file, that should hopefully take care of it.

I like this mod so far, but there is one severe bug I've encountered.
At some point the ability to loot disappears and does not come back. When I raid a bandit hideout the hideout remains after I clear it out, with no loot of course.

Am I the only one that encounters this? I have so far made 3 characters and the bug shows itself within a few battles
