sometimes in battle or hunt I have ctd with C++ runtime error I had this with 0.96 too. I use polished landscapes.

Mm, it can be PL conflic with warband 1131, something i read in PL thread. I will look it best.

All right in your rgl, it can be problem of flora.txt in data folder. Somebody have try other flora file of PL?

I have problem in mod which I reported in some previous version already. When I am in towns Duin Foither or Dun At, when I go to armor merchant my game freezes and I can only restart computer.  :???:

Uglier without PL? I wouldn't say it. Some trees look very strangely and poorly  just in PL.
 
Can I just say this is one of, if not the, best mods I have seen for M&B. Great work!

One question, crouchable weapons for horseback, where are they? And are there any 2 handed weapons?

Cavalry wasn't used much during that specific period involving the current factions of the time. Lances were'nt even used in the Dark Ages I think.

there're some battle-axe or war-axe for 2hands ,  no swords

if you wanna use 2handed sword, should be wait for 200~300 years :sad:
 
So I can't play the mod :sad:

Everything is fine with my native, I use DX7, but this mod just doesn't work

I can create a character fine, and edit my face/stats, I have problems with the opening fight scene.

Every time, after I kill the bandit who attacks you at the beginning of any new game, my WB crashes before the merchant runs up to me.  It just says "A problem has caused this program to stop responding."  Is anyone else having this issue?

How about crossbow? I see there is crossbow proficiency but so far i see no crossbow. Also is there ransom broker in this period?

No crossbows that I know of. Ransom brokers are in, although I doubt they would exists in 7th century Britain.

While invented and used in certain parts of the world by this time, I don't think crossbows would be historically accurate for Brittania for this time period.

However, I am far from an expert on the dark ages and I could be wrong of course. Crossbow proficiency is simply a default in the native game, and why remove a stat when players often import/export chars between mods?

when the crossbow apears in europe was 4th century, but not populary(almost none) used in warfare.
sure thing is first invention and usage of warfare was East asia -ancient China and Korea- , before A.D

on history record, first usage of Europe warfare was William the Conquerer's Britain invasion, 9th century.

Also which sword is more realistic in medieval world? native one with gleaming silver color or Brytenwalda with dull white color? I never see real sword before.  :???:
 
First impression about this mod 26 day plays,

whoever say money is hard to come by, surely never play native campaign before.
Even without trading at all, i manage to build 2 factory and 60 man army in 26 days, by doing collect taxes mission, destroying bandit lair, and attacking roaming bandit party.
I believe the money problem more or less the same with native, quite easy in my taste. Hard in the beginning, swimming money from day 200+ after building factory in each town.

So far the formation is good, no complaint in that direction  :grin:

auto calculator is broken, using my low mid tier 60man army against 40 man unrights gang, my army destroyed while the gang win nearly unscathed.
Maybe they got very lucky...  :shock:

My first siege is huge, i'm using 400 battlesizer. Usually in native that mean max 400 army in battlefield. In this mod i'm watching the defender deploy 300+ army, the attacker 400+ with addition my 60+ army.

The village and town production quite random. My best factory is grape press in snowy area. I tough grape need warm area?

A bit stuttering in campaign map, i believe it come from the huge number of kingdom and lord  :grin:

The price of losing is harsh, i got -1 agi and -1 str for losing 1 battle!

Overall very good mod.

Me neither. Motsly Pictish troops like Each Raidh, Airig and Saiogdear Picti.
Looking at Bonheddwr's inventory shows 'regular fighter' with nothing but boots.

Warrior Woman has no melee weapon - only bow, arrows and shield.

I don't see the upgrade tree for Shepherds. I think they become herdsmen and then guardians.

This is my rgl_log.txt if you are able to read out something from it.

Rad, if i dont remmember bad, when you had this problem, you fixed it change your drivers or something. I wasnt mod problem.

We know long lances like the bizantine Kontos (you have in mod) that was using by cavalry, but, generally, cavalry use spear on his head, hitting from the top to down or throw mode.

There are a crossbow in this mod - hunting crossbow of pictish faction.
Roman know crossbows yet, but weapons were simple, nothing comparable to that from the thirteenth century.
Pictish stones let us see something similar to crossbow:

ransom broker - in this time, slaves was commons, motivated by poverty, wars, etc... There were obviously people benefit  with this.

It wasnt add. There was no space and is very simple (linear)
