Concept example, add armor :
-> 20% reduction in damage received by a piercing projectile (does not affect javelins or throwing spears)
-> The projectile has a 10% chance of ricochet (this destroy has the impact without causing any damage to the character)
Skirmish only

Nobody would ever approve of this. Nobody wants to play an archer class if opponents can just outright have a 10% chance to completely ignore the damage from an arrow.

I wouldn't be too surprised. They already added "Plated armor" perk for Legionary that reduces cut damage by 20%. Meanwhile there's a faction with infantry units that can only use cutting weapons as their main weapons...

but beware, TW has added a perk that reduces damage to the maces for them. :grin:
 
The best way would be for Sturgia to get mace too. After all, they want to balance armor stats of unit types across factions so why not for weapons as well. But since they nerfed the maces, it doesn't matter anymore.
