Like give a cape to all corresponding units if you have bought it, not just for armored type.
And later we can discuss things about horses, but not before.

Nope. What needs to be done is to make archers actually counterable, rather than just remove them from the game.

Ranged combat has a role to play in medieval games, but archers should never be able to devolve things into "modern shooter with a medieval skin"
