SP - General Let us equip Companions.

This would help our companions survive in battle. They are often equipped with robes and little else. It would increase the fun factor of maintaining our clan.

You can already do this. While in your inventory, take a look at the top. You'll see your character name with an arrow to the left and to the right. Use those arrows to switch to companion loadouts.

I can second that. You can equip companions.

You cannot, however, equip Lords/Ladies you acquire into your family (Such as in marriage)

I tried to equip Ratagost the Fish but when I picked him up and tried to hit a looter with him he got mad and made me put him down

Are they in their own party? You should be able to of you disband it and bring them into your party as a companion.

I've also noticed that I can equip cheese or butter in my civilian clothing set up, but not the other. Well, at least one of them was blued out like I wouldn't be able to. I haven't actually tried putting them in a slot.
