Exactly! THIS IS NOT A DW MOD! It's a Romance of the Three Kingdoms mod! DW is not historically acturate, although a fun game, almost all the armor weapons and  stuff in dw games past dw 3 is made up or in the wrong country (i.e. zhou tai's KATANA! WTF!) or in the wrong time period(tonfa, Nunchuku XD)

I know it's pricky to barge in for such a petty thing, but that wasn't a katana, but a Miao Dao. The two are incredibly similar, but the blades are forged in two different manners ^^'

But this is of minor relevance as this is not in the right time for a Romance mod. But I'm not sure the Wushu Dao is right either...

By the way, need models? I can't texture to save my life, but I'm alright as a weapon modeller.

In DW4, the level one weapon was Zhou Tai was a Katana.(that was the name of his weapon)

-About the Miao Dao, Xiahou Dun used that from the first dynasty warriors all the way to Dynasty Warriors 5.

Well, I can't say anything then, it was obviously a mistake from their part.

Edit: Just checked, these guys have a hard time naming their weapons, Xiaohou's sword looks more like a Dadao than a Miao

Cool, could you show me a model you've made(or make one XD)? if you can uvmap it and don't fancy doing a skin, I'll make the texture

@Everyone: I'm happy with the responces we are getting! the majority of them are good
and anyone who wants to be on the team must explain how the'd help out, that doesn't mean talk about dynasty warriors! 
Someone asked about who has which lords somewhere, I'll do a list up and the team will decide depending on how important they are to a side, or how long they spent with that perticular side.

I thought the miao appears in later period than TK time.

Green Dragon (blade) possibly comes from the term "Green Dragon, White Tiger". Blue dragon? Look at the blue moon (the second full moon of the month) to see if it is blue.

In DW called it the Blue Dragon probably because 青 also means blue, but it is used less commonly. The Japanese aren't very good at translating anyways.

It is meant to be called Green Dragon Blade because it was green :\

I was hoping some one would make this mod... Since i am pretty much useless in all modding areas except for nonsensical ramblings i offer this tidbit

Other than reading the books, watching the TV series and playing the romance of the three kingdoms series this might help. The TV series is only 28 episode long and a good watch. The books are long but a good read.  Oh the games (mostly III) are the greatest turn base games series ever made.

Thanks for the comment on the Models. About rigging, well, I wouldn't know where to start but I'm sure we could find someone to either teach or do so I'm sure that won't be too much of a problem. Afterall we haven't even finished the map yet.
