For others, it is an opportunity to run around naked with a two-handed sword and test their combat skills against players from all around the world. In this week’s blog, we talk with the person responsible for making these equally epic (and sometimes silly) experiences a reality in Bannerlord: Korneel Guns.</p></br> [/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/51

@beron

1: no the morale system is not actually morale. Its more of a “ticket” system. If your team loses all morale you instantly lose the round.

2:Your olayer is already unique from the ai bots in Captain mode. Like the player gets a fur cape or different colored helmet. while your ai bots get default gear. However, everyone is affected my the morale system.

3: I dont think theres a set commander.

4: There are no bots in Skirmish mode. Just captain mode.

Callum, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, or why we died. All that matters is that Skirmish mode looks bad. That's what's important! ****posting pleases you, Callum... so grant me one request. Grant me Battlemode! And if you do not listen, then the HELL with you!

This is a very famous twitcher and I didnt know he tested Bannerlord in gamescom I found this video by luck I think none of you has ever seen this.

Note:

1-It is very cancerous, guy simply stops it constantly and he gains subs without stop all among the footage.
2-In the second round his cavalry companion bugs and they dont follow him to the hills.
3-He plays very bad(even though he is a very old veteran in the first game he defends himself saying he is more used to wasd defending)
4-He speaks all along the video and yeah...in Turkish.
5-Video interrupts with a black screen time to time for some reason.
6-He doesnt Show all the video he fast forwards it etc.

Still you may just want to see a fresh new gameplay so I shared it anyways.

That was ****in terrible. You were right. So many sponsors, ugly clutter.

However, I was able to finally see how lances work. Thank you for this video.

This is also perfect to show people how much Taleworlds slowed down Bannerlord. Look at the speed of the axe swings. Jesus christ.

What about everything else? The horses are not slower, the lances are not slower, the movement in general just seems more authentic. It's not slower, but rather more fluid. Sure, maybe the one handed axe  :???: ? But bare in mind it also slices multiple enemies at once now, so it's not like all functionality is entirely lost.

Which is another awful change tbh

Maybe, maybe not.
I'm trying to picture how that would go down in a multiplayer setting; suffice to say, you might be right LOL.  :iamamoron:

I don't like the attacks hitting multiple enemies either, however it seems after the whole Battle ordeal everything in Bannerlord is bad. "This animation isn't right. This attack is too slow. The movement is too fast..." and so on and so on. I'm positive this kind of talk will cease the moment we have a chance to actually play the game for ourselves.

But seriously, a BETA:cool:

This video was posted now to shown the gameplay is a bit old and if you look at the shield and the back and it is clearly seen not the final version. The attack animations on it looks a bit weird and when you got a hit and those fast reactions and animations also looks mediocre but keep in mind it is not up to date and hopefully they fixed that by now. Also I like this blog and it is seems okay so maybe we will see larger battles and more better single player too. The game is 90-95% finished so it should be released in this year maybe in summer where a lot of peoples consider to play at home in the holiday (those whom studying) the others anyway need to go work so they can only play in the free time and in the weekends.

I personally not find the gifs bad at all of course there could be something to done to it but overall is a nice blog and good experience.

Mostly, people don't like gifs because they compare gifs with real life, after 8 years of development our expectation reached the real life standards.

But if we compare those with any other game out there with similar scale of players, there is none. Bannerlord will lead it's own kind with pretty amazing animations and graphics. Maybe the only "medieval" title game that could beat Bannerlord in animations is KC:grin:, and it has plenty of bugs, failures, yet it's scale is much more small.

Most of you saw the PM I sent saying that there will be no Battle mode in the same way as it was in Warband. While this is in part true, it appears to be completely misleading, so please allow me to clarify the situation.

There will be no single-life game mode in matchmaking, but there will be one for custom games (among other game modes, such as Team Deathmatch). The final design for this game mode isn't set in stone yet so you shouldn't expect to see a Battle mode which is identical to the one we have in Warband. Naturally, we will take community input on these matters into account as we strive to create an experience that is enjoyable for our fans. We also have an extensive list of server settings, so you should be able to customise any of our game modes to suit your needs (playercount, gold amounts etc.). If any of the custom modes turn out to be the game mode that clans want to use in tournaments or which our event organisers want to use for events (such as line battles), then we will work to support them with that when the time comes.

The item system from Warband has now been changed to a class-based system, with a perk list to customise your character (such as access to different weapons or better armour). This is the system we will be using across all of our multiplayer game modes. The reasons for this change are: to help with the general balance of the game (between units and teams); to prevent snowballing; to make multiplayer accessible to a wider ranger of players; and to provide a system where players can know what to expect when playing as or against each different type of unit (and develop strategies and tactics based on this). I will also note that there still are a significant range of options across the classes and perks – which may be expanded upon based on community feedback and testing results.

We want to make it clear that our aim is not to alienate our existing playerbase through our efforts to attract new players to the game. We will always listen to your feedback and try to work with you to create a game which you will enjoy playing for years to come. But, with that being said, we also have our own thoughts and ideas that we would like to put out there and we are confident that game modes like Skirmish will be well received if you are willing to give them a chance.

It would be really helpful if you could leave any feedback or thoughts about this over in this thread: https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,375184.0.html rather than spread out over the handful of threads which are currently discussing this issue. Thanks!
