SP - Economy Buying land in villages

Users who are viewing this thread

It is understandable that villages are the basis of the economy. Buying land in the villages which will produce certain amount of raw product. Landownership will count as workshop ownership. When player chooses an option to by a land, he will need to choose how many land he wants to buy. Every village has limited amount of land, depending on prosperity and location(like mountains, plains, river). Buying to much land from village will angry the headmaster, because you are buying their places of work. Also land prices should differentiate: pasture is the cheapest (player buying a land but not cattle), silver mine is most expensive (for obvious reasons). Also the player could leave small amount of troops to help protecting the cargo on the road to the city. Those troops will also help defending the settlement. If the player is a lord and owns the land in the village which assigned to his town/castle, then village gives him less taxes due to less amount of working people.

Also village could produce more than one raw materials, since there are several notables in the village, each of them has a bit of land, and they decide how to manage it.

Thank you for your attention.

While buy land, the player could also choose which raw material they wanted to produce... Like, for example, planting wheat, grains, grapes, olives, even if it's not the primary production of the village and also would give retinues to player.

There's a mod for this on nexus called "entrepreneurs fixed" u cannot pick raw materials for the village to produce but it does allow u to buy simulation farming land that'll net u profit in every village dependong on howmany plots u buy.
