What we’re looking for in a Member

To be part of the 29th means that you have to have some responsibilities in order for us to maintain our respect among the NW Community. These responsibilities include being able to follow orders once given, not talking in all-chat (the white chat that sends a message to all players), using PTS before you speak (Permission to speak- Talking out of turn while in line could cause some confusion between the leading officers), and not team killing other players on purpose, as it makes us look like a troll group, which is the exact opposite of what we aim to be. We head into battle with honor every time and hope that we leave it with the same reputation that we had and another victory to our record.

Recruit’s Requirements:
Being active (showing up to regular events and trainings, and just chilling in teamspeak and recruiting on downtime)
Maturity
North American
Good Reputation

Every person starts at is Recruit. You work your way up from that when you show that you are dedicated to the success and well-being of the regiment. From that you go to Private, and we start to expect a bit more showing of what you’ve learned in trainings on the battlefield. From there, you are put in the roster as a Regular. The Regular has the same basic responsibilities as the Private, but to get out of this you must be more active and attend more events. From there, you go to a Lance Corporal, the highest Enlisted rank there is. At this point, we need to start sensing from you a trait of leadership and maturity in order to keep moving up the ranks. From there you are promoted to Corporal, the lowest-ranking NCO. With this rank we now expect that you try to bring in new recruits to help the regiment grow. From there, it moves to Sergeant, Colour Sergeant, Sergeant Major, and Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM). The people that have the Sergeant ranks must be able to show that they are the most mature people in line battles, and try to keep the enlisted together as well to move on.

Officers22_zps659b32cf.jpg

To be an officer, you must achieve the highest standards of maturity, dedication, being active, and respect that you think out-guns others. Our Second Lieutenant is the lowest Officer rank, meaning that they must have all of these traits in order before the current officers even think about them being promoted. Second Lieutenants in the regiment are the ones that are the right-hand-man (or woman) to the leading officer in their specified company (only A and B company for now). They must be able to lead like the officers if the time comes, and be calm in tough situations. For Lieutenant, it is basically the same as the Second Lieutenant, except you might get more chances to lead the line. What we are looking for in both of the Lieutenants is a lot of recruits, because if they’re going to be leading, don’t you think they should have recruited some people to lead? The same goes for all of the officers, whether it be Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, or the Colonel.

Events and Trainings

In events, we require that all people, whether they be dead or alive, to use PTS. We need our members to be active enough so our line could grow bigger, gaining us a reputation that is untouchable from other regiments. We need our soldiers to be focused and mature, in order to achieve a successful linebattle. As of right now, we have no scheduled battles, just trainings and recruitment drives. The schedule will be updated in both the steam group and the teamspeak.

(Please ignore the “Click Here” Button, I have yet to figure it out)

If you are interested in taking up arms with the 29th Worcestershire Regiment of Foot, we’d be glad to have you. We have a public steam group that you could join, called “29th (NW) Foot Regiment”. Join it, or you could add one of the current officers, the only one being -29th- Camo. We’d love to see you grow as a gamer in this game and gain your own respect in the community, helping our reputation in the process.
