In Progress Game wont start

I have tried everything recommended by the developers and everything else I could find recommended by other players on here and the Steam forums, but I still get the same white screen followed by a crash on launching. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

+1, tried everything mentioned in this thread, downloading c++, .net, etc, redownloaded the game, deleted the documents folder where saves are, allowed app through antivirus. game gets to the initial loading screen with the running horse, then crases after about 15 seconds. no error report ever comes up. restarting in safe mode makes no difference. also tried both available betas and verifying game cache.
 
The problem for me is that it doesnt produce crash logs for me. I don't have a crash folder in my bannerlord's files. The only way for me to get any sort of output message is through event viewer.

Still getting this error after the patch and I'm contemplating refunding, I understand it's EA but for the price you'd expect a working game, instead of only prioritising in game fixes can we please at least get a response regarding if these are even being acknowledged or not..

Crash logs are under programdata/bannerlord/logs

Still getting this error after the patch and I'm contemplating refunding, I understand it's EA but for the price you'd expect a working game, instead of only prioritising in game fixes can we please at least get a response regarding if these are even being acknowledged or not..

Interesting you post this in the very thread that they commented on that it was being worked on and has a giant green tag on top saying in progress.

It might help if you guys compare your graphic cards and driver versions - at least in regards to System_Reflection, since there are already 5 people with the same error - and maybe there's something there, altough the hope is slim.
We also ideally need people in this thread who have solved their crash issues, so that we can compare their errors with the ones we have here.

Thanks for that analysis. Hopefully more people post their crash logs in this thread so we can start to get a more representative picture of the problem. I have the latest nVidia drivers installed for my GTX 770 (445.75).

All three of you seem to have NVIDIAs and all three of you have the same "physics" issue. There's a setting in game for "cloth simulation". I wonder if it has something to do with it.
In the Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\Native folder there's a file called engine_module.ini, and there's another one - engine_config.txt - in the (User Documents)\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs. Maybe turning things on and off there would do something.
 
update for me, deleted everything in the hidden folders appdata and program data related to bannerlord. seems to certainly be related to an nvidia problem. i am able to play for now. for anyone worried about losing your save, just backup your save games, which are located in documents.
