SP - General Workshops in enemy town

Right now workshops you own in an enemy town seem to be destroyed permanently.

I'd like to propose a more interesting system:
- When you are at war with a kingdom, the gang leader from the enemy town makes you an offer to take over your workshop temporarily. You need to pay a fee for this, for example 2000 denars. They will also keep all profits from the workshop. If you refuse or can't pay, then your workshop is lost (same as now).
- After the war is over, you need to visit the town and talk to the gang leader and ask him to return your workshop to you. There is a chance (for example 30%) that the gang leader will refuse to return the workshop, and then you have a street fight with the gang. If you beat them, they return the workshop to you. If you lose the street fight, they keep the workshop forever.

Or just have the proceeds confiscated by the owning clan / faction just like in warband.

What was wrong with how it worked in warband?

Nothing, that's what.
As far as i know it wasn't confiscated permanently, just until the war was over. In bannerlord you lose your whole investment forever.

if you have neutral/good relations with the lord, it gets sequestered.

if you have bad relations it gets destroyed.
Talking about relations, it's kinda weird that you can have good relations with someone you're actively fighting against.
