What is _occ_quad?

I'm struggling to find an answer to this - but what are _occ_quad scene objects? What is their purpose?

Since no one answered this, I'm just going to post what I assume it is in the event anyone else wants to know the answer;
  • A quadrilateral that occludes a certain part of the main map
  • It prevents access for the player and NPC units to scale mountains or otherwise inaccessible terrain for the auto-generated navmesh

They are occluder objects that depict the mesh they are tied to - they physically occlude an area defined. This information is used not to draw anything behind the object.
