I'm not sure about the black Cuir Bouilli in the file Wei sent the mesh is still called hard_lthr_ab.

Thanks, it works, but just for that red cur bouilli. The normal/black cur bouilli (Thick Cur Bouilli) still off. Can you check the mesh again. I really like his armor for it's oriental feeling

You need to download the brfeditor to open the resource files.  Or OpenBrf.

By the way if you haven't done so you should download the vs 1.2a vs of the armors.  I think the only error it has is red cuir bouili entry that I mentioned above.

I did download the v 1.2a. Seriously. Just download the OpenBrf, i'll try looking it. But i think i pinpoint the cause. The mesh at itemkinds1.txt is somehow different with the itemkinds1.txt-compatible one. Maye wei_xiadi forget to update the comatible one. There's only 22 item while his read me says there's 23.

Edit : yep, the compatible patch itemkinds1.txt have 3 different entries with the normal one. Add it with the red cour bouilli it sum to 4.

for anyone using the compatible patch(there number 22 at the top, try search and edit this

Search Kushan_armour change it to kushan_armour
Search Kushan_cloth change it to kushan_cloth
Search hard_leather_a_b_cb change it to hard_lthr_a_b_cb
Search hard_lthr_ab change it to hard_black_leather

While the one using the normal one(there number 455) only need to change 1 entries
Search hard_leather_a_b_cb change it to hard_lthr_a_b_cb

I installed this on the Form ranks mod, Punkt's hires textures and get RGL error to many variation on mesh version. Any tips?
 
The high res textures could be clashing with Wei.Xiadi's new brf file.  But I have never used Punkt's high res textures so I am not sure.
 
Hmm well I didn't see them originally in the first few shops I checked so I increase my itemkinds by 23 and added the lines in so maybe they were there in the first place and I created the error by adding them in?
 
Ok so I edited the lines I added back out and change the item number back to 433 and still nothing shows up. I was on day 4 but I'm well past that now, didn't save so not sure. Anyway... I'll install this mod on native and see what happens....
 
I joined the forums just to post this... I installed the mod and got an error that only appears(As far as i know) when the town is selling Curi Bouili armor saying RGL WARNING: Unable to find mesh hard_leather_a_b_cb. when i minimize and close the warning i can go back in game and the armor is just a blank slot and when i point over and it gives the stats of the armor.

Also for future reference when ,or if at all, i decided to uninstall the mod how do i do it? After i saw the rgl warning i uninstalled the mod and then played mount and blade(native with no other mods) and when i loaded my game i got the RGL ERROR item kind 455(this only happened on the save file that i used the mod on and i didn't even buy the armor).  I even made sure to change the item kind back to 433. So when i changed it back to 455,to see what would happen, even though the files weren't there. i couldn't  even load it boot up and get to loading .ini and it would stop and i would get  the rgl error:error reading the items kind.txt. Since that didn't work i uninstalled the entire game and then reinstalled and the same error appeared ONLY on that save file(regretfully my good save file).

So now i reinstalled the mod and my game loads fine but i still have to minimize and close the error warning(RGL WARNING: Unable to find mesh hard_leather_a_b_cb) each time. Other than that the mod is very nice.

Go into items_kinds1.txt and look for hard_leather_a_b_cb.
Change that to hard_lthr_a_b_cb

The fix was posted a mere 4 posts above.  You should read previous posts more carefully.
 
Thanks, guess i wasn't paying attention. but i'm still a noob on how to uninstall Mount and Blade Mods, Usually i just delete the mod files and everything is fine,ex oblivion dl a texture mod, i back up original and look for the modifications in the modded version and delete them and everything is fine. Oh well won't have worry about deleting the files for a few months anyways probably  :grin:

trying this again, this time without punkt's textures, I edited those except I am unable to find hard_lthr_ab in fact I don't even have hard _black_leather.

these 3 armors are originally from Tripartition mod, which is neither an open soucre mod, nor a dead mod!
we are still gonna use them in the future, and will decline any apply for using them when the warband version mod comes out, so you have to remove those armors from your pack.
I'm sorry.
