Mughal Twilligt
For some time i wanted to play Battle for Hindustan. But since that is not a warband mod, i have decided to make my own India mod. This one though, takes place in  the twilight period of the Mughal empire, in the 18th century. As i am not very familiar with the period, because it is not easy to find info on the net and because i like to take liberties, this is therefor not an historical accurate mod(but i try to some degree).

What i changed

Factions
There are six new factions, Mughul Empire, Nizam of Hyderabad,  Nawab of Bengal, Nawab of Awadh, Maratha Empire and Kingdom of Mysore a

Firearms
The mod features muskets, pistols and blunderbusses. Compared to the matchlock the flintlock are faster to reload. Pistols have the fastest reload, do the least damage and have shorter range. Blunderbusses do the most damage but have terrible accuracy and short range.

Mounts
The mod feature doneys, mule, ponies, horses, camels and elephant. Ponies and arabians are the fastes horses. Heavy horses are the strongest. Middle horses are in the middle. Armored horses are slowed by their armor. Camels are slower but toughter than horses. Elephants are the slowest but tughtest of them all.

Other
Added the option of not starting in a town.
Twohanded weapons can no longer be used on horseback.

Troops
Troops consist of three categories irregulars(lowest quality, lowest price), regulars(medium quality, medium price) and elites(highest quality, highest price). Irregulars come in the following types: Infantry, spearman, archer, musketeer, lancer and mounted archer. Regulars come in the following types: swordsman, spearman, archer, musketeer, lancer, mounted archer and mounted musketeer. As troops upgrade their equipment does not improve. They upgrade in 5 levels. Irregulars are highered in villages. Regulars and elites in towns. Cavalry cost more than infantry.

How about Portuguese Goa?

I was of the opinion that they were not major players in India. But perhaps i could add them in later.

The Portugese were very aggressive in trying to redirect trade from Moslems in, say, Calicut, to their own sites and allies like Cochin. I would consider them significant. They took increasing control of trade as time passed.
