Ciiges is no longer with us so hopefully that satisfies the MINDLESS LOW IQ MOB

deciding where to put the prize shirts is a hard call, cuz obviously the teams which get the top 3 places in div A are the top teams in the tournament, but incentive prizes for lower level teams are a good idea as well.

the biggest issue is that most teams in each div don't have a chance of getting a shirt cuz of the skill differences within each division. weaker div A teams get bodied by top level div A teams and don't really have a chance of winning the prize. if you make div A smaller (4 teams????) so that all of them have a realistic chance of winning then it's fairer to have prizes in other divisions as well.
A 4 team div A would be so boring and stale. Honestly I signed up not knowing there was a prize and I’m sure other teams did the same

It doesn't really make sense having lower divisions having the same prize pool as the higher divisions. There's a big incentive for lower divisions teams to play based on the prize pool, but is deincentivized by people who purposely attempt to claim the prize by making half their team good and half their team bad as there's no real point playing in a better team against better players because the prize is the same in all divisions.

It's also unfair that these top teams are fighting for the same prize they could've won in a lower division, and are more than capable at beating any of the division B teams, but loses out because they came second in division A even though they're better than the winners of division B, it makes no sense whatsoever. If you were to include a prize pool, it should get progressively better the higher the division, otherwise there's no point in playing in division A at all.

One way to fix that is to write the Division on the T-shirts lol

Doesn't change anything, you still get the t-shirt with your team name on it, no ones going to research this exact tournament when they see your t-shirt (not that anyone will wear it). Yeah, play in a higher and harder division to get an A instead of a B written on your t-shirt... doi.

While I don't think teams exclusively sign up just to win t-shirts, they still should be awarded to the best teams, otherwise it's just unfair that a weaker team from Div B will get the prize while a team placed in Div A that is very likely to beat that Div B team won't just because they were put against tougher opponents. It doesn't make sense. Perhaps top of Div B should be able to compete with Div A in the playoffs so they get the chance to actually earn the prize in a fair way.

Being the best out of all should be awarded, not "being the best out of those that aren't good enough to actually be the best"

That's what I was thinking as well, have the top teams of Div C compete with bottom teams from Div B, as well as top teams from Div B compete with bottom teams from Div A for the divisional prizes. That way even if someone was misfortunate enough to land in the wrong division there's final playoffs to determine the prize winners. In WNL8 for example the top C teams did very well in the B playoffs all things considered.

True but if they lose to the bottom of div A, who's get the prize? If the bottom of div A get it if they win, then people would just purposely lose in div A to get it.
